Easy check in. Very nice house. Majority of the house was nice and clean but we did find random things from previous guest like lipstick on the floor, and hair tie in bathroom. House was well stocked with pots and pans and towels. Kitchen supplies were not stocked, there was 1 singular kitchen knife and 1 dishwasher pod. A few trash bags, only 1 roll of paper towels and 1 dish towel. Other than that, soap was provided and other utensils were available. Our biggest complaint was with the AC. The thermostat on the wall had a limit and wouldn’t let you lower temp more than 69. The main level was fine with cooling, however the second and third level were not cooling down. The thermostat said it was 69, but the master bedroom and loft were consistently 75 degrees, even at night. Host was slightly difficult to communicate with, would not answer or return phone calls, and basically said there was not anything they could do. Host argued with me stating the house was at 69 and could not go any lower or the unit would freeze up. We requested fans and to have the AC limit adjusted for night time or we would be contacting VRBO. Host then was very accommodating and brought fans, which helped immensely. Maintenance man came by to change air filter and said the reason it’s so hot is because there is only 1 vent in the room and no return air, so all the summer heat is rising up and the air wasn’t circulating properly. Other than the AC unit and communication issues, we loved it.
