  • Our fully furnished 2 bdrm cottage is nestled under the beautiful live oaks on the Jonas Ranch. A tranquil setting close to Guadalupe River for tubing, Fishing or Boating at Canyon Lake, Wimberley market days or swimming at the Gruene. Just a little over an hour away from Fredericksburg! Minutes away from Blue Hole, San Marcos Tanger Outlet Mall and Wonder World Park, WurstFest, the famous Schlitterbahn family Water Park and shopping in New Braunfels and Historic Gruene. Bring your friendly pet to stay!!!

This property is perfect for pets! This is the second time we have stayed and we will be coming back. The hosts thought of all of our needs and were very good with all communication. You and your pets will love it here!

3 dogs and a wedding

Beautiful cottage, wonderful hosts and PERFECT for your fur babies. We had a weekend celebration for a wedding and Ollie’s cottage was safe and comfortable for our dogs and us

Great place, great location!

This was our second time to stay here with our small family and little dog. Centrally located between San Marcos, New Braunfels, and Wimberly. Great place, Great location!

Great, clean cottage

This property is a cute, quiet place to stay in the middle of New Braunfels and San Marcos. It was immaculately clean and beds were comfortable and had plenty of private parking. Highly recommend!

Great Spot!@

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was very comfortable and perfect for our fur baby. She had the whole yard to herself and we did also. The location was perfect to get to Wimberly and New Braunfels We would definitely stay again in the future.

Ollie’s Cottage

We had a great stay. The property was well maintained and located in a nice hill country setting. The owner also went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. Being very pet friendly was also a big plus. We would definitely go back.

Perfect!!

We had a wonderful stay at this VRBO! The home was not only family-friendly but also pet-friendly, which was a huge plus for us. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed, and everything was set up perfectly for our needs. The beautiful and clean environment added to the overall enjoyment of our stay. It was the ideal accommodation for attending a wedding in town. Highly recommend!

Hill Country Paradise

Our hosts were so wonderful and gave us all the info we needed in advance. The shade and outdoor environment is super. They welcomed our 2 small dogs and were very reasonable with providing for the dogs' safety and keeping the property sparkling clean.

Super Property!

Absolutely accurate descriptions and reviews for this property! It is a gem!! We travelled with 2 dogs, and they were enclosed safely in both the front and back of the property when they were outside. They house is clean, adorable, and very quiet. The owners/property managers are so very kind. Perfect stay.

Quick Trip to the Hill Country

Awesome property. It was very clean with wonderful attention to detail from the property managers. Communication was quick and check in was seamless. We stayed with our Golden Retriever who is a bit spoiled and does not travel well. She was very comfortable here. The location is great, Quiet yet still close enough to everything. Would definitely stay again.

4th of july weekend

The space was so nice and relaxing. Our doggy is a rescue, so he is a little nervous getting out and about. This is his first trip with us. And he did fantastic here, the space is so convenient and made for a easy getaway. The owners were very helpful and responded quickly to any questions we had.

Relaxing getaway

We enjoyed our stay It was great for privacy. All of the supplies needed were adequate.The space for our dog to run was fine We did have problems with the barndoor to bathroom. It would not stay open when not in use. We had to prop it open

Property was amazing! Great for dogs

We really enjoyed our time at Ollie’s cottage. Everything was immaculate. Great bedding and towels. Far exceeded our expectations. The dog kennel and turnout was so clean as well. Our dog came with us on most excursions, but when we went for dinner we used the kennel. It was so nice knowing he was safe and happy. Close to Wimberely. We loved the hiking trails at blue hole and Purgatory. We will definitely stay again.

Fantastic location and perfect for our dog loving fam

We loved loved loved this property. Less than 10 min drive to Wimberley. We ate at the Leaning Pear and Creekhouse for dinners which were our faves. Chill’s by the creek was good for lunch. Took kids to natural bridge caverns and then had lunch at the Gristmill and went to Gruene hall. Canyon lake was a fun day trip too- weather was chilly in March, would love to come back in summer. The house had everything we needed. Wi-Fi worked great. Dogs loved running in the yard and we built a fire in the chiminea almost every night. The dog run was awesome and they loved the doggy door.

Wonderful Host

We needed to move our TXST student into his dorm but wanted to avoid boarding our dog. This was a fantastic home. We truly enjoyed the time we were able to stay in the house. The host reached out numerous times to check on us. Also, I noticed the little things. There were plenty of towels and washcloths. There was adequate shelving in the bathroom to allow everyone to keep their stuff in the bathroom. The host left a nice note at the beginning of our stay, suggesting nearby restaurants. The dog door and run were excellent, and I felt safe. We will stay at this property again.

Cozy Hill Country Stay

This place is private, cozy, clean, very pet friendly and centrally located to downtown New Braunfels, Wimberly, Dripping Springs and not to far from Blanco or Johnson City...all our favorite Hill Country places. If you like Breweries like we do, there is New Braunfels Brewing, Twisted X and our new favorite find, Ghost Note Brewery. And Elio's Pizzeria in Sattler has the best pizza! Chill's on the Creek on Wimberly Square for good dry rub BBq wings (pet friendly). If you are taking your dogs on a trip, consider this place. Entire place is fenced in and they have an indoor kennel that's leads to outdoor dog run, so if you want to enjoy some alone time without the fur babies you can leave them in this indoor/outdoor kennel with no worries. We will definitely be back for next year's fall trip. Don't think we could find a better place to stay with our fur babies.

Best dog friendly place we’ve ever stsyed

We’ve acquired a third dog that my daughter rescued right before leaving for college. Do you know how hard it is to find a place that will take 3 dogs?! This place was very comfortable for people but truly catered to our furry friends. We were a short drive to San Marcos, Wimberly, New Braunfels. It was clean. Comfy bed and pillows. Extra blankets. Plenty of towels. I love that it was gated and completely fenced in so our dogs could just be dogs as we sat outside. There is also a kennel with access into the house and backyard via a doggie door. We didn’t use it as we just planned to take the pups everywhere with us. We’ll definitely consider this again with or without the dogs. Thank you.

Wonderful experience staying at Ollie's resort. The dogs had their own pet hotel area too! The owner did great at checking in with us to make sure we arrived ok and even let us check in early at no cost. She brought over coffee filters when needed. the place was super clean and well stocked and we loved all the eclectic furniture and attention to details. If I had to recommend something I would say that additional mirrors in the bedrooms would be helpful, because there is only one bathroom and one mirror in the entire house. other than that, it was amazing and I will definitely book again.

Very Relaxing

My family and I just stayed at Ollie’s, and it was fantastic. The lookout for Devil’s Backbone is only 5 miles away. Wimberley, Gruene, San Marcos and New Braunfels are very close. The cottage is perfect for dogs. The beds were comfy and everything was there that we needed. Lisa even checked in us to make sure we made it home OK after our stay. She was very attentive. I highly recommend Ollie’s.

Amazing place to stay!

This was the perfect place to stay, especially with dogs! The kennel was so nice. We didn’t have to rush back from what we were doing to let the dogs go potty. The entire place was spotless and had everything we needed and was very comfortable and private. We will definitely stay here again!!!

Super Cute Cottage

This place was perfect for our family of 3. Our dog loved being able to go in and out though dog door and it was nice not to worry about him while we were away. The cottage was very clean and we hope to stay here again!

Adorable Cottage in Texas Hill Country

My family LOVED this pet-friendly option at Ollie's Cottage. The owners could not be more friendly and easy to work with - great hospitality. The cottage was beautifully appointed and the beds were so COMFORTABLE. Also in the middle of a Texas heat wave, the AC kept our Coloradan family nice and cool. The porch and deck area are such a nice amenity. The setup for our furry babies was exceptional. 5-star recommendation!
