Waterfront Retreat

  • Welcome to your peaceful half acre waterfront retreat with a boat slip and dock in the beautiful residential River Bend Community minutes from historic New Bern. Relax on the large, screened, covered porch overlooking the Trent River Canal or inside in front of the gas fireplace if you are feeling like a cozy day. Enjoy all the comforts of home with a gourmet kitchen, smart TV’s, fully equipped laundry room, 2 sleeping suites with Q beds and attached bathrooms with walk-in showers and the spacious upstairs loft room with 2 additional queen beds. The den area to the left of the living room has an additional queen pull out sofa.
    Launch right of the dock with your boat or kayak to explore the area, fish or head into New Bern for dinner. Head to Atlantic Beach (only 36 miles away!) Visit the birthplace of Pepsi or the first Governor’s seat of NC, Tyron Palace. 2 kayaks and life jackets available for your use. Plenty of parking for your vehicles and trailer in the circular driveway.

New Bern Family Reunion

We had a family reunion in New Bern and were looking for a nice play to stay for our trip. We now have a new standard for vacation rentals going forward. This place was perfect! Clean, spacious and the amenities were fantastic! If we ever visit the area again we would definitely book again.

Property is fantastic and set up for an enjoyable stay. The bedrooms and adjoining bathrooms provide privacy for guests in a family. The kitchen and living area are open for a family gathering. The was immaculately clean. The owners were a pleasure and very communicative. Highly recommend!

This property fit our family perfectly. The property was spacious enough for our family to spread out and be comfortable. We really enjoyed the outside space as well as the inside space. Being able to look out and see the water was a added bonus and we really appreciated that. We are so glad the property was available.

Girls Weekend 2023

The space was perfect for our needs. Each lady had her own bed. The ample living space was comfortable. The screened porch was lovely. Quiet neighborhood, conveniently located outside of downtown New Bern.

Beautiful Property! Very spacious kitchen, living room, bedrooms and bathrooms! I loved how it was very well stocked with essentials, and not the cheap stuff! They had extras if you were in need! We brought our own boats to go fishing! Easy tie up and access to dock and boat lift! We will be back! 10/10 Highly Recommend!

Well Stocked home

We found this home to be comfortable, peaceful and just what we needed. We were in town for a funeral and we completely enjoyed the screened in back area for morning coffee and evening chats. The weather was perfect and we had plenty of room to all hang out. They thought of everything in this house! Thank you

Comfortable stay!

My family and extended family, party of 8, stayed for a week. I can say enough about how easy it was to feel at home here. The home is spacious, well appointed, and clean. We were there over the Christmas holiday so we actually used the kitchen a few times. It was helpful to have common spices and an abundance of cooking tools to make it easy. We throughly enjoyed our stay and will return when in New Bern area.

2023 White Family Reunion

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your home. My parents who are in their 80's did not have to climb steps and the location was spacious and very clean. This is definitely a location I would use again for family events in the New Bern area. This beats an hotel stay any day of the week. Thank you for sharing you home.
