"One of our all-time best trips ever! New Bern is a gem and Amy and Linda have created a B&B that matches the town - quaint, friendly, full of things to do, excellent food. Meadows Inn B & B is lovely. From the beautiful decor to Amy and her VERY caring staff, we looked so forward to each day waking up in the spacious rooms with beautiful linens, fantastic walk-in shower that seems to never run out of hot water, and plenty of space to put away your clothes and stuff rather than rifling...

"here were a few issues. There was no elevator, which is hard on an old person like me. The two USB plugs on the cube on the desk didn't work. It was impossible to plug anything in on the night tables because the desk was too close to the wall, and there were no free wall plugs. "This is a good property. It is just outside the city near water (not the main river, a side creek. It's a quiet community with plenty of amenities. Check in was easy, it took just a few seconds to get the door unlocked (keypad) but once you did it it was easy. Alana, my host, was attentive and responsive. I had no issues but I'm certain she would have quickly responded if she was needed. The room was cozy, about the size of a large extended stay hotel room. It was a little dated but I...
