House is in a great location for walking into town. Well appointed and comfortable for two people. Definitely would like to visit the area again as the weather wasn't the best and would consider staying here again.

Pros: Very clean and spaciousfor two, new, or recently refurbished unit. Well-stocked kitchen equipment, i.e., appliances, cookware, etc. The bed was very comfortable.Cons: stairs difficult for mobility-limited folks, only outdoor seating was a balcony with two chairs, a table, an umbrella stand, but no umbrella. The wraparound deck next to the bedroom had two chairs, but was blocked off just past the door. Thankfully, no one from the house chose to sit there.

Convenient, Comfortable & Cozy

Home was well appointed and listing photos were accurate. Location is very close to the downtown walking area. Although the street can get a little busy during the day, the unit is very quiet because it is set back from the street.

Special needs moms needed a weekend getaway!

This was a great property in a charming neighborhood. We enjoyed a very relaxing weekend. The bed was very comfortable. We stayed in for dinner, due to the weather but the oven seemed very old and we had to guesstimate cooking time/temperature. A few new baking sheets or baking dishes would have been helpful. Make sure to review all of the rules to help keep this property available. The neighborhood is not 100% accessible due to uneven sidewalks, large cracks and small spaces. Parking on the property could be difficult for larger SUVs.

All needs were provided for

The location was close to everything needed. We walked to restaurants and spent time at a nearby park. The property had coffees, tea, spices,oils, etc — all the necessities and more. Games, notebook with suggestions for activities but best of all was the super comfy bed. I would highly recommend this property!!!

Our Stay in Nevada City

VRBO was very cute. Loved the town and neighborhood. Kitchen was very well stocked. Very comfy bed. Didn't particularly care for the fact we couldn't wear our shoes in the house. The only negative thing was there were numerous nails in the drive where we parked. Other that that it was a lovely place to stay.

nice house private quiet and relaxing!

Nice house just a short walk away from downtown nevada city easy keypad access made the check in very smooth. Nice set up in the kitchen nice bedding and towels. My only problem was Some of the coffee creamer in the refrigerator was old and curdled the so when I tried to put it in my coffee, I got a surprise so I just decided to go downtown and get a cup of coffee at a local café.

Our stay

1st the place was really cute and clean. Great location and they answered immediately whenever we called. There were a few things I think can be improved. 1. The light bulbs in the kitchen need to be changed out for a much brighter one. 2.we were unable to get to the Home Screen on the TV and were only able to access the Netflix of whom ever used the TV last. Not a huge big deal just an adjustment needing to be fixed. 3. For me if I’m paying a cleaning fee I would prefer not to have to do the dishes.

Great place!

We didn’t really get to enjoy it too much because we were so busy with a family wedding. But, it was immaculately clean, the bed was very comfy and if you are strong enough to endure a large hill, a short walk from town. Such a cute downtown that we did have a couple of great meals at. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Perfect Getaway!

My husband and I spend a lot of time in Nevada City and often try to find a new place to stay each time and this was our favorite one so far! Perfect location with just a 7 min walk to downtown. The check in/out process was effortless and the amenities went above and beyond. We would definitely stay again!

This rental was in a great location, beautiful residential neighborhood, yet really close to the downtown area. Sitting on the upper deck, enjoying the beautiful trees was a favorite afternoon activity. The place was clean and felt homey. The owner/property manager was a pleasure to work with.

Couples Retreat

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. We ate our meals in downtown Nevada City, which is a short walk from the house. Close hiking and river access. This was perfect for the two of us, but we thought our two younger kids would have enjoyed it too. The house was clean. We would come back.

Great place in a great town!

Very nice and private apartment over a separate garage. Perfect for a couple. The owners were extremely helpful and friendly. A short walk to Nevada City which is an interesting and friendly Gold County town. Dining options for every taste and price.

A Cozy guest house in Nature's Embrace

Our recent stay at the Vrbo in Nevada City was super cool. The place was like stepping back in time, with old-fashioned vibes all around. The place we stayed in was cozy and decorated in a really cool way that fit with the town's history. The bed was comfy, and the blankets were soft, so we slept well. Plus, the place was spotless and super clean. The best part was how close we were to the town's downtown area. The host even gave us tips on where to go, which was awesome. We had a little kitchen area where we could make breakfast, and the living room was nice for hanging out at night. It had books and games to keep us entertained. Overall, staying at the Vrbo was a blast. It was a cool place to stay while exploring the town. We'd totally go back again someday. The host was awesome! She always replied quickly whenever we needed anything.

Nice Place Near Nevada City’s Central Business District

The home is nestled in a prime location within walking distance of Nevada's central business district which was perfect while I attended the Wild and Scenic Film festival. Cleanliness is a top priority for me when I stay at an ABNB or VRBO and I was pleased to find the space was immaculate. Some of the furniture is dated but it is evident that the hosts take great pride in ensuring their guests have a clean and organized place to stay. The small kitchen was well stocked with quality utensils and pans. The neighborhood itself is charming and I enjoyed walking down the hill to explore what Nevada City has to offer. Obviously, walking up the hill was a little more strenuous but not too bad. I would stay again.
