"The Beach Hotel is a social enterprise run by the YMCA as an apprenticeship scheme. In light of this we had quite modest expectations for our stay. But these were misplaced - the hotel is spotlessly clean, and run by professional, welcoming staff. The occasion was a large family reunion, and the restaurant served us all with a good simple dinner in an efficient and timely way. Service was excellent. "We had an amazing time staying at Allercott Farm. The cottage was beautiful, cosy and very peaceful at night, and you’re right in the middle of Exmoor so you can drive for around 20 minutes any way at all and find yourself at one of the many walks. Hosts were awfully lovely, as were their several friendly dogs who were keen to say hello. We’d absolutely consider staying again sometime to visit more of the national park. 😊"

"Caro the host was lovely and friendly and very hospitable. The old Manor House is beautiful set in rolling countryside. The bedroom was large, beds were comfortable and good shower. Caro provides an excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Would defo visit again. The Globe Inn nearby does good food and the staff and locals were good fun."
