"Over priced and under delivered. Staff were nice tbf, room was £130 + £15 for our dog well over priced for location and quality, no discount for eating in restaurant prices compared to hotel in major city centres, I travel a lot for work and know! Only continental breakfast included absolute joke. Dinner in restaurant again poor Pad Thai must have been left on pass chicken and prawns dry sauce way to thick again dried out. "What an amazing place to stay! The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, in fact one of the ladies on reception had visited our part of Canada. We were treated incredibly well from start to finish, and the amazing breakfast set us up for the rest of the day. A first class experience!!! "

"Had a great stay here, it had everything from great food , friendly staff and a well equipped gym and pool. To top it off for us, it’s dog friendly too! All the staff were super helpful and attentive to our needs, from reception to bar and gym staff. Everyone made us feel so welcome, even the gym members. "The room was spacious and clean and the bed was large and comfortable. Decaf and ordinary coffee, tea and hot chocolate supplied and refreshed each day. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. Will definitely stay there again."

"A historic building just off the square, this beautiful B & B never fails. The owner, Ruth, goes out of her way to make sure that you have a comfortable stay, bathed in luxury and quality. places like this are few and far between these days. Superb!"

"The room was brill for me as a single room but was updated to a Twin room which was excellent,and all the staff,waitresses,bar and reception could not be more welcoming especially whe you are on your own. Could not fault"

"Room was okay but small. The mattress was amazingly comfortable albeit the wooden bed frame was a little creaky. The walls are paper thin and the doors closing and opening extremely noisy so not as restful a break as the location demands"

"Clean room comfortable bed. Tea coffee and biscuits provided and bottled water by bedside. Didn’t eat at hotel as out and didn’t book Breakfast as only staying one night. Pleasantly surprised and can see hotel has been refurbished. Would stay again if needed room in that area. More information could be provided on parking and where to access barrier before arrival That would help"
