"The cabin was exactly like it was described. The room was clean and well decorated. The cabin was right on the river. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony that overlooked the water. We were going to go canoeing, but the canoes were too heavy (for females) to carry to the river. There is some traffic noise, but the view and atmosphere makes up for it. We would definitely go back. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"1st time in Caddo Lale area. Off the beaten path literally. Potholes en route. In town for Jeff tx battle. Anywag the screened in balcony spacious. We dines outside a couple times. Really liked the plug in string lites in The balcony. Inside all good. We brought groceries so used the fridge and micro and coffee maker. "We were in Jefferson for the Civil War Reenactment and this house was perfect for our stay. It was across the street from one of the reenactor encampment locations and a short, easy walk to the downtown area. Even though it was close to everything, it was quie6 and peaceful. The house is beautiful and plenty large enough for a fwmily. Check in, check out super easy. The owner is very quick to answer questions. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again next year."

"Four of us friends stayed here for several nights and had a wonderful, relaxing time. It was so relaxing we didn't leave the place other than for a boat tour.
