Dealing with Ralph during the booking process, organising transfers, and check in process was a breeze. During the stay and questions and help and he was very responsive.The villa needs updating; the photos on VRBO are quite old. In catch the photos show mesh barriers and fence which has since been replaced with glass. This is better but only if the glass is kept clean enough to see through!I found the beds uncomfortable and pillows were not up to standard for me so we didn’t sleep well (the adults, the kids seemed to sleep ok).Overall the villa is well used and tired. For the price I would expect a much fresher feel. It needs refreshing: curtains old, soft furnishings old, showers not ones you’d spend a long leisurely shower in. There are very few outdoor cushions for chairs and loungers.On the plus side the location is excellent. Out the door and run left to the bars and restaurants of the old town a few minutes walk. Turn right and your on the beach in 10 minutes. This is important in Nerja because it gets quite hilly the further back from the coast you walk.So, location excellent, communication with the host excellent, villa somewhat tired.
