Excellent accommodation, comfortable spacious house in a peaceful quiet location. Very well set up. Close to Kingscote, 15 minute drive and central location, easy drive to most sights on KI. Loved walking on the beach every evening watching the sun set. My sister and I enjoyed our stay at White Shells, KI. The house was beautiful and relaxing. Thank you Kevin and Sue.

Modern well appointed house in a beautiful peaceful setting by Nepean bay Double glazing at front of the house eliminates outdoor noise and keeps the warmth inside Highly recommended

We stayed at white shells for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. The property is well maintained with all the amenities. Very spacious rooms with ensuite in almost all bedrooms. Kevin was very responsive and answered our queries promptly. He even helped us with booking ferry tickets and also provided additional information on the places to visit. The property is straight opposite to the beach with amazing views and perfect spot to go for a walk in the morning. Quiet and friendly neighbourhood. Highly recommend this place. 10/10 ⭐️ .

Great location, within 5 minutes of arriving a koala strolled past the driveway! Extremely clean and well equipped. Would definitely stay there again and would 100% recommend.

This is a lovely house that was perfect for our family. There is a couple of things that would have improved this experience. The dryer was outside in a dirty shed, not good when raining....a new one placed in the bathroom would have been great. Some more useful items in the kitchen would have been helpful eg. salad and mixing bowls. Lockable exterior doors are a must. Regards

The owners Kevin and Sue have thought of everything you will possibly need. This beautiful, stylish home has four bedrooms and four bathrooms which was perfect for our group of friends. There are several beautiful indoor and outdoor areas to gather and enjoy meals and the first class Kangaroo Island wines. Strolls along the Nepean Bay beach on the doorstep are perfect day or night with fantastic star-gazing. We had the best time! Thank you Kevin and Sue!

Perfect house for our group. The bedroom and ensuite setup was very comfortable, and the large living space was great. Beautiful sunrise and sunsets at the beach across the street, and the house is only a short drive to Kingscote. Kevin was very helpful. Would highly recommend

Such a wonderful comfortable home to base ourselves for 5 days on KI. We were 3 couples so home set up perfectly with ensuites in each bedroom. Excellent showers, linens and comfortable beds. Loved the central courtyard for indoor outdoor relaxing . Kitchen well equipped to make whatever you want . Bring a bread mix for bread maker in case you run short . Long walks along the beach - koala spotting and stars at night. This place has it all.

From the moment I booked this property everything was excellent - communication was fantastic and very clear, the checkin process was easy, and the house is in an excellent location with beautiful sea views. The beds were all very comfortable, and with a group of 7 adults it was wonderful to have 4 bathrooms - definitely a luxury! I would highly recommend, and would certainly stay here again when we go back to Kangaroo Island.

The house is beautifully presented, clean and modern. We had a lovely stay the view looking out over the sea was very peaceful with easy access to the beach. The beds were all very comfortable and the bathrooms were well appointed. Kevin was a great host.

This beautiful holiday house was perfect for our needs, an inter-generational holiday! Nepean Bay has the perfect position for calm waters most days and the beach is perfect for kids, so safe. The house suits a group of people with plenty of clean bathrooms and spaces. The outdoor area is lovely. Well equiped kitchen. As with all of KI, there's probably no one ideal spot to stay to allow you to see everything easily, with alot of driving required, but this place will not disappoint as it's probably as central as you could ask. Kevin was very helpful and easy to correspond with. Highly recommended.

Thank you for a truly wonderful stay. The house itself is spotless. Our family of 4 had loads of space, with 2 teens having their own q/s bed & ensuite it was perfect. Comfortable sofas, 2 tv’s with Netflix, wifi, meticulously stocked kitchen with everything you need on hand- just brilliant. Only about 20 steps across the road to the most serene beach- it was like a dream. Only just over 10 mins drive to Kingscote, you feel isolated yet close to amenities. Hosts were lovely, very receptive and kind. Loved the kitchen backsplash- pictures of the bay right across the road. Every detail has been thought of here. Beds comfortable, it really was a pleasure to stay here. We played games, had a bbq, chilled out & explored the Island. We especially appreciated the coffee machine!

Really well designed holiday home, double glazing is awesome. Well resourced kitchen with big fridge, perfect for a large family. Seperate area for young family with kids. Kayak’s were a lot of fun. 3 bedrooms have ensuites which is fantastic, 1 bedroom doesn’t have an ensuite, but a large main bathroom next door to it, plus a seperate toilet. Once again a great set up for a family. Thanks Kevin

A great property, very well set up and positioned on the esplanade at Nepean Bay, just close enough to Penneshaw and Kingscote but also far enough away too so that you really feel it's just you and the ocean. It was just 2 of us, but the house didn't feel too big. The furnishings are very high quality, and if you love cooking like we do then the kitchen is really well set up. The outdoor lighting in the rear courtyard really sets the mood too, a great place! We've already recommended it to a couple of friends.
