"Due to a issue with Poppythorn cottage we were moved to Colleton we were advised of this prior to our visit via text. Very good communication throughout our stay. Staff were so helpful and quick in responding to our queries. Stunning location, we stayed for 2 nights, wish we had booked for longer! "The home was perfect for what we were looking for, which was just a home base to relax in and visit with family in the area. It has easy access to the rail station, grocery store, and downtown shopping and dining. "We loved sitting out on the patio area, watching the goings on around the place, the tv wasn’t on at all. Visited Brampton for some excellent food and loved the Lanercost Priory when we visited there. Miltonrigg woods was just 2 minutes drive for a lovely dog walk as well. Could have done with a parasol on the patio when the sun was strongest but our intention was met for a few days of chilling. The staff were all friendly and we had a lovely breakfast at the cafe on our departure. "
