We stayed at this Penthouse apartmemt& it was great. The apartment was done really well, it was neat, tidy and furnished very well, and had everything you could ever need including secure car spots. It was in a very convenient location close to everything and in a really nice area. The host had clear & prompt communication before & during our stay making everything easier. Its a really comfortable convenient & pleasant place to stay Highly recommended house & host.  A

Lovely apartment but needs deep clean & maintenance

Enjoyed our stay in this lovely apartment, the views are spectacular & the plunge pool & spa are a wonderful bonus. Being in walking distance to shops, beach & marina was awesome. However needs a deep clean & attention to maintenance eg older model oven needs cleaning or replacing, couches need cleaning, under beds had small debris & thick dust, bbq cover needs replacing as ripped & difficult to put back on. When I’m paying premium prices for luxury accommodation I expect it to be spotlessly clean & have matching good quality dinnerware, glassware & cutlery for the number of guests booked. The water feature near the pool area is not working & has wiring hanging out.

Girls weekend

We had a great time exploring Nelson bay. The hike up mount tomaree was breathtaking, local food was yummy, the shops were fun to browse through. Everything was an easy walking distance. The stay was incredibly rejuvenating and stress free. We loved the pool and spa, views were top notch, beds comfy and the house had everything we needed. Thanks for a great stay!

Amazing place

Absolutely amazing beautiful place. Leaving/ dining and kitchen awesome the only things that was a concern was the glass table it lifts up and the oven was hard to work out need instructions. All bedrooms can not fault at all. The outdoor area spectacular views amazing only thing half the jets worked in the spa and the lights didn’t come on up stairs which made it hard to enjoy at night.

A little piece of luxury

This property makes you say wow as soon as you walk in the door. The views are 360 degrees. Kitchen and living room is large which made it great for family game night. The rooftop pool was the highlight

2022 Girls Weekend

Out of almost 20 years of having g a weekend away with friends, this would have to be the best place we have stayed at for location. Parked our cara and didne need them again until we left and the apartment itself was just perfect. Can't wait to rebook next year.

The living area was spacious & comfortable with a great view & location excellent. The kitchen was a good size however the oven was older with the dial details worn & difficult to read so an instruction leaflet would have been helpful. Thankfully Aaron (property manager) shopped for additional glassware & gas bottle. The two main bedrooms were very comfortable however the beds in the remaining rooms were single mattresses pushed together, one of them only suitable for one adult to lay across the bed & that room had no hanging space for clothes.(very uncomfortable for 6 day stay )The property stated 4 king size beds! Pool area spacious however.BBQ area was very dirty. Overall we felt for a high end property the condition of some of the areas was disappointing.

Great location and a space with everything

We had a great long weekend stay here and the apartment was a great size with quality features. Wonderful being able to walk everywhere or just stay in and sit around the pool or in the lounge room where there was plenty of space.

Great Venue for 7 Adults, close to Restuarants & shop. Pool & Spa together with the BBQ area enjoyed on the weekend. Great view, relaxing weekend had by all.

Review of Penthouse Palace Nelson Bay

Apartment wasn’t cleaned well. Skirting boards and some windows dirty. Blind in living room covered in mould at the base. Sandwich maker used, but wasn’t cleaned. Toaster only worked sometimes. No wardrobe in middle bedroom. Bed not easy to access, and join in the middle meant very uncomfortable. Not enough glasses for the 4 of us. Only 3 wine glasses. Told by manager he would supply. Did not happen. Lime or calcium from cement on ceiling dropped onto car. Difficult to get off. Could have damaged paint work. Overall apartment tired and needs some maintenance. Would not stay there again.

Great Location and Very Comfortable.

If you are looking for a great location and plenty of space, I can recommend the Penthouse Palace. Rooms are very comfortable, view fantastic and a short walk to almost everything you would need whilst at Nelsons Bay. We ate out for every meal during our four night stay and not once did we eat at the same location nor use the car to get there apart from our dinner at the Golf club, which was only about a 15 minute walk, but at the end of the day after much sight seeing, who wants to walk. Check in and out to property very easy. Only slight negative was the property needs a bit of TLC. It is obviously well used due to all its positives but maybe some time off the market to have a coat of paint added, the floors professionally done and a bit of other maintenance, would justify the money paid for this luxury property. The cleaner may also need updating as well. BBQ was filthy and the floors looked like they hadn’t been washed. A minor negative though for a great four days.
