It was our first visit to Nelson Bay, nature is fascinating, lots of activities around to get engaged in, shopping is near by which was great. The only constructive feedback that I would like to share is that property needs renovations, not decently cleaned when we received the key.

The 4 days were lovely, and the staff were excellent and very helpful. The only problem was the Wi-Fi which had intermittent dropouts, was slow and had to be signed into everyday, which was a bit annoying.

Great place to have a family holiday with the kids
The weather was amazing. Staff where very friendly and helpful before and during our stay. It was a great place to take the kids, walking distance to the beach, great spot to go fishing board paddling. The place was clean and very modern.

We enjoyed our stay here it was close to the beach which was convenient especially when you have kids. The cabin is outdated and needs to be upgraded. Otherwise overall it was good

I booked a water view cabin but did not get one.No view at all but the cabin was great.We really had a great time . that was the only hiccup.They said at check in there were no more available and its because I booked with Hotels.com that there is no guarantee .I did not realise this.But over all brilliant holiday .Great location.

Perfect holiday location!
A spectacular location between two beaches with a headland and historic lighthouse above. Very well maintained comfortable facilities with friendly helpful staff. Couldn’t ask for more and we will definitely be back!

Good, but some things to consider
The cabins are nice and clean. We booked a two bedroom cabin for two people but they only made up one bed, assuming we were a couple I guess. My father and I prefer to sleep in separate beds though .... so we made up another bed ourselves (they left sheets which was good though). The remote batteries were dead and the plumbing is super noisy so if someone gets up early it will probably wake up the others. If you bring more than one vehicle you need to park the extras on the public road outside. Overall the stay was fine and the cabin very functional and clean, and the staff very nice, but it is priced the same as a 3.5 - 4 star hotel in the same town where there would be daily clean and service available if you need it after hours, pool, and plenty of parking.

Excellent beach access and recently renovated amenities. Some campers allowed noisy children to scream through grounds after 10pm, a little difficult to encourage younger ones to sleep however that is difficult for the property mangers to alter. Wonderful air conditioning in the villas was apprecited during humid evenings. Well worth a visit!

So quiet and so close to beach, as well as other amenities close by. Also very professional, friendly, helpful staff. Been to Nelson Bay many times but was best accommodation for us. Could not fault it.

A good place to stay!
We had a great stay in Halifax. The reception staff was friendly. The place is clean and convenience to access Nelson Point.

From the outside it was great. Caravan are packed neatly in allocated slots.2 bedrooms ooms are of good size but only one room have a fan and the other nothing. One aircon on the living area. Apart from that its ok.security was good. But One night there were roaches running around the dining area.

Clean and friendly. No wifi which was annoying as the tv stations were not good. It is nice to relax at night put your feet up and watch a movie but were unable to do so due to no wifi. However that is only a small criticism
