The holiday unit's indoor living area is an open plan design with the comforts of air conditioning and a well-equipped kitchen including dishwasher, family size fridge/ freezer, hotplates, convection oven/ microwave and air fryer. The property also has a shared laundry which can be found downstairs separate to the unit with a coin-operated laundry ($3- prewash) shared laundry for your convenience.

All cutlery, glasses and plates were dirty upon arrival, unit was clean but previous tenants obviously didn’t clean properly and just put away.

Needs a refresh
Original listing was advertised as 2 bedrooms, this needs to be changed as the sofa bed does not make 2 bedrooms. Compared to the other units in the building this apartment needs a refresh. Kitchen is tiny and no where to store dry foods, dvd player had no remote, exhaust fan in bathroom didn't work, sofa bed when folded out had food crumbs all over it and mattress was very thin, could feel every bar. Expected a little more comfort for the price we paid.

Great place was happy with all
It was me and my husband stayed 10 days
We liked the unit aircon and ceiling fan in bedroom
Big fridge clean unit and steps away from beach and 8min walk to Nelson bay shops Woolworths etc we enjoyed our stay ‼️‼️

Location for this place is beautiful but the place itself wasn’t like the pictures when booking, the place can do with a remake and a proper clean. The side light has cracks all through it and staying with little kids is not good.

You Get What You Pay For
We have stayed at a number of different types of accommodation at Nelson Bay in past years. This property is in great location - close (walk) to beach, marina and shops. Fairly basic accommodation - fine for couple - would be vastly improved by some contemporary improvements - which seem to be underway / in progress
