Great location for acces to Dutchman’s Beach & the shops. Lovely view & pleasant sitting outside watching the birds & the sea in the background. Very nice for short stays.

Had a really lovely stay here. Very quiet and relaxing, nice view, great location. The apartment was very spacious, had everything you needed for cooking nice food, very comfortable seating/ bedding etc. I really loved it! I’ll be back.

Beautiful outlook to the water and bush with lots of birds. Easy walk to the beach and Nelson Bay Marina and shops. The unit is spacious and comfortable, including technology and well equipped kitchen.

Loved the location, the view and the easy access to the great walk along the bike path/coast as well as the marina. Also loved the outdoor sitting area - though the cushions were a bit grubby with bird droppings on them. Suggested improvements include: Tea/coffee sachet box needs replacing; one side of the toaster did not work; the toilet roll holder needs replacing, and it would have been good to have a few coffee pods available for the coffee machine. The apartment guide said that there was some coffee info (?) in 'the drawer' - but there was no drawer. Last issue was that the chairs for the table were too low. We suggest you get a couple of higher chairs so it is more comfortable to eat at the table.

Hi Anne,Thankyou for your review. Tea/coffee box has been taken away till we can find another one, not aware of the toaster but will change out, toilet roll will be replaced. Coffee pods should have been left ( will talk to cleaners), coffee machine info should have been in back of folder and will get some extra cussions for dining chairs.Cheers

Beautiful area with much to see and do, but the bed was very hard and uncomfortable. Inadequate cooking utensils/dishes or facilities. Guests upstairs sounded as if they were moving furniture around day and night,

Hi Mal,sorry to hear you found bed too hard, will check will cleaners whether topper is still on. The Garden is only set up for short stays as no kitchen only kitchenette. All the basic utensils are there with adequate plates, cups and cuttery for 2 people. Sorry about people upstairs as they are not supposed to move furniture around. Had you made us aware of this we could have corrected this issue.

Nelson Bay is a brilliant place and this property is in a fantastic spot. so close to the beach and within a short walk to town. The property has great gardens and is in a peaceful setting. We appreciated the extras like Alexa, Apple TV and Foxtel. the only issue was that the bathroom was very small with limited storage and power but the spa tub was amazing.

This was a beautiful place to stay! Very peaceful, lovely garden and close to the beach with lovely views. Very comfortable also with lovely amenities. The speaker was an added bonus for listening to music. As we were the only guests, it felt very private. It would be good to return with friends in the other apartments.

Lovely quiet little unit to stay in. I stayed in The Terrace, it was all on one level overlooking the water with a lovely sunset view. It was a great place to stay for a romantic weekend getaway. Will be back again.

Relaxing
We were very happy with the accomodation and its location. Although an older building, it is well maintained, quiet and in a peaceful area. We had amazing views from our top floor apartment and enjoyed the easy walks into Nelson Bay and the nearby Dutchman’s Beach. Bed was comfortable and the spa was relaxing.

Fabulous property! What a wonderful location with Dutchman's beach a few steps from the bottom of the garden. A clean, compact unit with a lovely outdoor area and beautiful garden. We had no worries with the other holidayers in the units above. The outdoor shower is a great ideas and the BBQ area looked great, even though we didn't use it. A short drive to all the facilities of the shops and restaurants, it is easily walking distance too. Thanks for the great instructions and trouble free stay.

A great escape from busy city life!
We were taking a short vacation for Lunar New Year. The weather was wet so we stayed indoor most to our stay - watched a bit of Netflix and do some cooking. Still we managed to take the Ferry to Tea Gardens and visit 'Fighter World'. We walked to the Duchies (beach) from the backyard, it was very handy.

The apartment was beautifully decorated and everything was provided for us. The location was superb and we woke up every morning to absolute peace and quiet. It was very close to Dutchman's Beach and there were walking paths close by. The apartment had all amenities and a superbly furnished kitchen. We appreciated the tea and coffee provided. It was one of the nicest places we have ever stayed in.

The property wasn’t thoroughly cleaned, found lots of dust under the couch, bed and other corner places. We even found someone’s toenail in the lounge room. Paid premium price for 2 night but was disgusted with the conditions and left the very next day although paid for 2 nights.

We are very disappointed to hear your review of our Terrace apartment. We always encourage our guests to let us know if there is any problems and we would ensured action was taken to compensate your disapproval. The Christmas period is a very busy time of year but it is no excuse to have a report such as yours. We will definately take this up with our cleaners. Again please accept our apologies as this is an unusual event.

Great location. Walking distance to the centre (if you are used to walking). Dutchmans Beach is right behind the apartments. We enjoyed the beach view from the balcony of the top floor apartment. And star gazing from there at night. Spacious rooms. Lovely green outlook. Beach chairs were provided which was handy. Would love to stay again.
