Cheery and relaxing spot right by the lift

The location of this adorable condo could not be better and renting it was a total breeze - just park in the dedicated spot and walk in. Plenty of space for our family of four. The pictures don't fully capture how bright and open it is. To ski, you just walk a few yards to the snow line and hop on the slopes. Keep in mind there is no washer/dryer so you will need plenty of clean dry clothes/parkas/ski pants. Other than that, the condo is well equipped. We had a great time!

Great condo in a perfect location

Condo is just as described- great place for a family to enjoy some winter fun at Wintergreen! Location is perfect, right off the slopes. The owner makes renting super easy and was easy to reach when questions arose. Can’t wait to rent this place again for our annual family ski trip!

Everything was so easy and convenient! Located right at the top of the main lift we were able to come in for snacks and to warm up often. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook. Great stay.

Easy to find upon arrival, parking spot was close to front door, convenient to slopes/shops/market, plenty of room for the 3 of us in condo, comfy couch and beds, would suggest bringing something for ears during ski season as snow-making was loud during the night

Fall Break visit

Wonderful property for our family that included a 9, 7 and 3 year old. Lots of exploring around the resort and local orchards/pumpkin patches. Also made a day trip to Crabtree falls and Devils Backbone. Enjoyed cuddling up in the evenings and using all the great furnishings in the kitchen to cook dinners! Owners were responsive when we had a small issue with parking. Lovely place with all the conveniences of home! Plan to return in the winter for some skiing!

Outstanding home away from home!

This property was quite simply the best we’ve ever stayed in at Wintergreen. You just can’t beat the location; right behind the Dobie Express lift and near the Mountain Inn. It was clean and had everything we needed and more. We’ll be back!

Wonderful stay!

Perfect location and place for our family of four! Kids had a blast in the backyard building a snowman and the ski-in/ski-out accessibility of the condo made getting out on the slopes super easy! Would definitely return on our next ski vacation.

Amazing Rental

We couldn't have been happier with our stay at Dobie 319. The pictures on VRBO really do not do it justice. This place is truly ski-in-ski-out and the Blue Ridge Express lift is actually much closer than it appears in the picture. The condo had everything we could possibly need in the kitchen and baths and the living space is very comfortable. We would definitely book this place again!

Amazing as always!

We so love this condo. Its proximity to the green trails, slopes and the lift make it perfect for families with new skiers or snowboarders. The condo is so extraordinarily well stocked, cozy, and perfect for little kids. We love the new fireplace and the incredible open windows and views. We just love this place so much!! Cannot wait to come back for our third yearly trip!

Great Week at Wintergreen Dobie!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this condo! Great location, comfortable bed, great kitchen, cozy living room and tv area, parking spot close to front door, and of course the patio and the views! Communication from the property manager was excellent - very responsive and he had also contacted us about something in the unit that needed attention and he was able to take care of it prior to our arrival. We highly recommend this unit as a place to stay as we had such a wonderful vacation! We are already trying to figure out when we could go back next year!

Wonderful kid-friendly home got young families and first-time skiing

Our family had a wonderful time at Dobie 319 over the President’s Day weekend. The home featured the many amenities important and helpful for families with children: ample storage and hooks for handling the many snow and skiing accoutrements; cocoa Keurig cups and canned soup for fast, warm meals; large sectional sofa for snuggling after a busy and cold day; and proximity to the Upper Dobie lift and children’s Tree House for those early morning ski lessons. There also was a fair amount of snow right outside the home’s patio for impromptu snow play. The ski in/ski out was spot on: very convenient to walk off the lift for a short rest or snack. Parking was incredibly convenient too making arrival and departure fast and easy. The second bedroom had ample room for our two children but could have hosted four comfortably. Overall such a wonderful home. Perfect for our family and we really cannot wait to come back soon!

Great location

We loved our stay at this Dobie ski in/ski out unit. The condo had everything you would need for a family vacation and was large enough to accommodate our family of 5. We especially enjoyed the proximity to the main ski lift and the ski school. We look forward to staying again next year!

SLOPE SIDE

The location of the condo was perfect. Very short walk to the slopes. It has a well equipped kitchen. The owner really did us a solid enabling us to stay past check out in order for a rain storm to pass so we did bot have to hang out in the lodge or somewhere else. Plenty of room to spread out and plenty of beds.

Happy place!

As many previous reviews have stated, this condo was beautifully clean, thoughtfully stocked and perfectly located. Our family of five had a fantastic weekend skiing easily in and out of this cozy condo. Unfortunately the gas fireplace was not operational over the weekend, as it would have really added to the ambience, but the regular heating system kept us warm. The owners were easy to communicate with and we felt very welcome. Thank you so much!

Great condo in a great location, right at the top of the beginner chairlift. Clean and comfortable, with nice amenities... our only complaint is that the fireplace didn't work. Overall a good experience.

Excellent location to slopes

We enjoyed our stay. Wonderful location. Loved the updates of the condo. Everything you need for cooking etc. The lights on the porch made it nice for locating the condo for night skiing.

Returning guest

This is the second, possibility the third time I have rented this property (at least 1x with previous owner) so that should tell you something. If anything it is even better now than before. As a previous owner at Wintergreen and renter of 10+ different condos here I can say that this is one of, if not the best option on the mountain. We will rent again, although it is starting to be booked all the time. On second thought, maybe you should look elsewhere... ;)
