  • With gorgeous mountain views of the Blue Ridge and Blackrock Village this luxury mountain home is one of the largest in the Wintergreen Retreat Luxury Home collection. Featuring 5 bedrooms, 3 full baths, and 2 half baths. The level drive and one step access into the main level allows for easy access. Once inside you will be impressed with the gracious open floor plan and spacious rooms throughout.

    The main level master bedroom suite is great for family members with limited mobility. The home also features a backup generator and advanced water conditioning system for our guests comfort and convenience.

    The main level includes the soaring, light filled Great Room with cathedral ceiling & stone fireplace, large eat in kitchen with granite, handsome cabinets, tile floors & beautiful master suite with steam shower. Upstairs includes 2 guest bedrooms with multiple sleeping options, full bath and loft with a desk.

    The lower level allows for more activities in an additional family room with fireplace, a master suite with full bath, a separate bedroom with a large sleeping capacity, and a half bath. Beautifully maintained and tastefully furnished so you can just walk in and begin enjoying your new Wintergreen vacation!

We had a wonderful time. Our host was great to work with and the house is large enough for us, our 3 kids plus spouse and 6 kids. The kitchen is outfitted for the chef in the family. We will visit again.

Beautiful Scenery and Home With Nice Touches

We gathered as old friends and were able to catch up on the expansive deck with a breathtaking view. The living room and kitchen were also the perfect size for our gathering of 8 adults. The kitchen was well outfitted with upgraded extras. We would love to visit again!

It was all that!!

The home and community was exactly as it was advertised!! My family enjoyed all the amenities. We were impressed by the comfort of the beds! Had everything in the kitchen you needed and more! I recommend this house everytime

Family trip in the mountains

My family and I stayed at this property and it was perfect for our occasion! The home is beautiful, spacious, and has amazing views in the mountains. Everything was very clean and the home had everything we needed. The host was responsive and accommodating with a late check out that gave us more time for a morning brunch before leaving :) thanks for the great trip!

lovely, comfortable weekend stay

The house was clean and well-appointed. All 12 of us had comfortable beds, and loved the balconies & decks around the house. Nathan, the host was accommodating and easy to deal with. Can't wait to come back!

Great stay at Chestnut Springs

Really enjoyed our time at this lovely home in Wintergreen. It met our expectations in every way--beautiful house and view, fully equipped kitchen for cooking for a large family, very spacious rooms. We particularly appreciated the host's accessibility for questions and readiness to help.

Perfect for a milestone birthday!

As described, spacious, and generously supplied with everything needed for our large group aged 2 years to 80! Loved the mature hardwood forest ambiance with birds, bears (nearby) and even a bobcat! Thanks and hope we can return someday soon.

This is a very large house with plenty of room. The kitchen is large and well equipped, and, more broadly, the house has everything one would need for a great Wintergreen stay. This is the second time we stayed at this house, and the house now has a view of the valley, which is a wonderful enhancement. You have two decks available, but we mostly used the upper deck as we could always find some shade on the deck due to the shape of the house or from the trees. The Tesla electric charger worked great on my non-Tesla EV and I got pretty fast Level 2 charging.The host is great and responds quickly to texts about any issues or questions. The beds have different mattresses with different degrees of softness but all the beds we used were reasonably comfortable. The house has dual zone heating/air conditioning, which is beneficial for a house of this size. The house also has a backup generator which, thankfully, we didn't have to experience during our stay. But it's great to know it's there because power outages on the mountain do happen from time to time.

Holiday Trip

This house is great for a variety of reason: location, size, amenities, etc. We enjoyed the mountain views and close proximity to several hiking trails, skiing/snowboarding. More than enough room for 2-3 families, two large living rooms with fireplaces. Kitchens and bathrooms are well stocked and management is helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a large rental in this area.

It was great again. This is our 3rd or 4th year. A few items needing repair on the deck and the door leading to it.Very comfortable and well equipped kitchen and bathrooms.
