Great house with lots of space. Host was fast to respond to questions and help get settled. Rooms and beds were very comfortable and spacious. Thank you for a great weekend.

We had a fantastic stay at this house! It’s in a wonderful neighborhood with walking trails and privacy, less than 15 minutes to Bold Rock and Devils Backbone. Good fishing off the little dock - caught bass and bluegills with the kids. Hot tub worked great. The only negative was that could have used a cleanup of branches outside and some paint, but otherwise the place was fantastic.

The house was very spacious and the layout was perfect for our family. Heating the first floor was very challenging though. I would try to find a way to better heat that second living room. Also, the fireplaces weren’t all working. This could be due to the extreme cold but I thought I would at least let you know.

The home has a lot of potential, and it is clear that effort was put into renovating and updating the property. Unfortunately, the renovations seem to lack attention to detail, and our stay did not meet expectations due to several maintenance, cleanliness, and communication concerns.The host was responsive when we reached out before arrival to request the house code; however, that was the only communication we received. Despite reaching out multiple times during our stay about concerns, we did not receive any further responses.Upon arrival, there was garbage left by the front door and a hose sprawled out across the front of the house, which was disappointing. Throughout our stay, we noticed several issues that reflected a lack of upkeep and finishing details, including loose knobs on doors and cabinets, a dishwasher that was not secured to the counter with a broken handle, and numerous bugs inside the home.We also experienced a roof leak during a storm, had difficulty keeping the upper floors comfortably cool, and found the kitchen was not well stocked with basic supplies expected in a rental property. Additionally, some of the towels had a noticeable mildew/mold smell.While the updates made to the home are nice and the property has great potential, the overall experience was impacted by unfinished details, maintenance issues, and a lack of communication. With more attention to quality, upkeep, and guest readiness, this could be a much better rental experience.
