Beautiful house clean and new house. love the garage game room, 25 mins away from wintergreen resort, nice neighborhood close to the golf course and hiking trail.some good restaurants are close by. My kids had great time

We had an amazing time in this home! The host was very prompt and communicated quicker than any host we’ve stayed with. She also had the house stocked with things guests may have forgotten, which made our stay easier. The coffee/hot tea bar was a hit with our group! This was a great home away from home in a beautiful area!

My friends and I had a wonderful stay at this property. The house is gorgeous and the surrounding area was serene. Bedrooms were very comfortable, especially the master suite. The backyard is perfect for yard games, and they even had a chest full of potential games to play. Speaking of games, the game room with pool, ping pong and air hockey was also a hit. The host was exceedingly helpful. Joanna allowed us to check in early and was prompt in all communications with me. Highly recommend for families and friends.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this vacation house! It was incredibly comfortable and had everything we could possibly need – nothing was missing. Check-in was a breeze! The home itself is beautiful, set in a stunning area, and provided the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. The game room was a huge hit and gave us hours of fun. Everything was well-equipped, clean, and thoughtfully arranged to make our stay perfect. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return!

Best House Yet!

This was the best house that I’ve stayed in yet! I’ve been doing VRBOs for several years and this one earned the 10/10 rating. Host was easily accessible, house was clean, gorgeously decorated, had every amenity you could want with a family, and even paid attention to details like spices/foil/coffee in the kitchen. Kids loved the spacious yard, game room, hot tub, and neighborhood for riding bikes. Can’t wait to book this one again!

Great house in one of my favorite places

This home was larger than expected and has several spaces for hanging out. With us were 4 5yos and a 3yo that loved playing in the game room and in the well protected backyard. The property manager left many thoughtful amenities and guides and was easy to get a hold of. The EV charger was a big plus! Can’t wait to come back and take more advantage of the community facilities. We had no issues but as a parent it’s worth nothing that the (large and wonderful) kids loft is upstairs and a bit away from the hall half bathroom which made night time bathroom trips a little hard for our smaller children but certainly wouldn’t stop us from staying here again! Thanks for a great stay!

Great place

We rented the Myrtle for our annual reunion. Great house with screened in porch, hot tub, game room, etc. Very happy with the house, despite having a problem that was corrected very quickly by the owner after only one contact. Only thing to be aware, there is no bathroom on the upper floor. Not a problem for us but something to be aware of in preparing for your stay in Wintergreen. You will not be sorry.

Best place ever!!!!

The myrtle is an exceptional property. Joanna has pretty much thought of everything. There is a very professional book in the foyer that gives clear directions and really everything you need to know about the house and the surrounding area. Things are labeled. There are items for you to use for the pool for the beach. There are games there’s a fondue pot there’s a Panini maker… There are razors toothbrushes. There are plastic wine, glasses, and items to use that aren’t breakable and then there are dishes if you’re going to have a nicer meal with your friends. We were there for the rodeo, but we were able to go to the farmers market and also the pool. Everything was clean and well decorated. There were games that kept the teenagers busy. And the neighbors were all super friendly.

Fabulous Mountain View property

The house was perfect for our college graduation celebration. It was nicely appointed with updated furnishings and lots of options for seating to accommodate several conversations happening at the same time. We especially liked the game room and enjoyed competing with each other in pool and ping pong. Joanna is a terrific host and was extremely responsive. I highly recommend the property for anyone who wants to come and experience the best that Nelson county has to offer. Hiking trails, golf, swimming, local vineyards and brew pubs are all close by. Will definitely rent again!

Fantastic 'base camp' for Route 151 adventures.

Perfect as described for families with children - game room was a huge hit. The entire house was clean and provided everything that we needed for a multi-day adventure. Host was excellent.

Perfect getaway house!

We chose this house because it was halfway between us and some extended family to get together. The pictures does not really do it justice to how spacious it really is. The house was very clean, open and inviting. Had everything we needed to cook on, for our crew of 10. The dads and kids enjoyed the play garage to the max. Moms loved lounging in the sitting room by the fireplace. Kids even got to enjoy the outdoor saucer swing. We did snow tubing in the nearby wintergreen resort. Hit a few of the breweries for meals and drinks, was super fun and the house made it comfortable to hang out as a family. We will be back yearly, this will be our new spot to meet up with family! We did a pick up order at Target in Charlottesville, to have food and snacks. Was easy and quick. Our family was coming from that side, so it was a quick detour on the way there anyway. We knew there were few small convenience stores around, but not any big marketplaces. I also want to mention Joanna was an amazing host, easy to communicate, & responded quickly. In addition to the lovely house, book and trail book that they have printed out for you when you first arrive at the house, she was able to give us even more tips and ideas to do around the area with kids. Our twins forgot that orthodontist headpiece in the bathroom, and she made sure we got those mailed out to us. She really saved us, just a lovely host all around! If you’re considering booking this house, I say do it!

Friends Winery Tour

The house was beautiful and very spacious. Location was perfect for our trip visiting wineries in the area. Everything you would need plus some was provided for our stay. Joanna the host was super easy to contact. We are already talking about visiting again!

Beautiful house, amazing location

My family stayed here for a quick weekend getaway and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect house for us. The property was extremely clean and the decor is modern and absolutely beautiful. The beds were very comfortable, and the bathrooms even came equipped with toiletries, face masks, hair dryer, etc. The location was perfect and so close to many breweries and wineries. We want to come back when the weather is better so we can enjoy the beautiful screened in porch next time. Highly recommend!
