"This house is loaded with activities, inside and out. The rooms were comfortable and amenities were great. Overall it was a really fun place to hang out and kept a large group busy for the weekend. Highly recommended! "

"We enjoyed our stay here. Great local to walk or drive into town. I didn't realize we had to walk upstairs to get to the apartment. However, we were all people physically capable to do so. Home was very clean and comfortable. Love the convenience of a washer and dryer. If you plan on cooking your meals. Great counter space and outdoor grill. Didn't see a grill brush though to clean the grates. We made so though. Will definitely stay here again. Thank you so much for allowing us to rent from you....

"This property was a great place to stay. It was very clean and was nicely furnished including an arcade game which was fun. It’s very close to Jim Thorpe and was walkable to several restaurants. I was in town for a Reading & Northern train ride and it’s only about 15 minutes from the train station in Nesquehoning. I will definitely try to stay here again in the future if I’m in the area. "

"The accomdations were fantastic... beyond our expectations. The host was very communicative and helpful with our questions. There was many inside and outside activites available at the property. It was super peaceful and we saw wildlife daily. I would highly recommend this place. "

"Stayed one night on September 27th, 2025. Was able to check in early and had bags personally delivered to our room. Once we finally got a hold of the owner Geraldine, she was very friendly and helpful. The room was very cozy and secluded and amenities were very good. Would not recommend for elderly or very obese people as the steps up to the bathroom were tight and steep but once you get there the bathroom was very clean and well maintained. "This was a beautiful, well maintained property. The outside fire pit was the best with the view and wildlife to enjoy morning through night. This was a very clean property with plenty of room for 5 to move around and enjoy. Great beds, great outdoor spaces, perfect hot tub with a great view of the lake, awesome game room and very clean along with the communication with the host was so easy. "Perfect for our weekend trip! This place was clean, comfortable, and homey. It had everything we needed. We enjoyed the screen house and even saw some deer! The location was great for our trip to Hawk Mountain and we also went to Jim Thorpe for lunch and the scenic railway ride. We would love to come back again sometime!"

"Words cannot express how perfect this property was! Off the beaten path from the Mayhem and downtown Jim thorpe, but close enough for convenience! Beds were super comfortable, the place was immaculately clean, and stocked with anything you would need! Very thoughtful. They even had fresh cut flowers on the table, and out on the front porch. I would definitely stay here again!!"

"This is a perfect location. It took us less than 15 minutes walking to the Jim Thorpe train station. Plenty of cute shops and restaurants along the way. The house is spacious, clean and nicely decorated. Beds were very comfortable. There were 8 of us and we all enjoyed the stay. Kylie and Mary Beth were great host. Check in and check out instructions were very clear and they answered my questions right away. "

"Tidy home with all necessary amenities provided, including all kitchen necessities, select toiletries, coffee/chocolates, condiments and spices. Beds were very comfortable and linens were of good quality. Instruction guide had all the information needed about the home and the local neighborhood including restaurant and entertainment options. "Desayuno muy limitado en cantidad, variedad y horario. Parece que no toman en cuenta la cantidad de personas hospedadas. Por ejemplo: El segundo día de mi estadía bajé a las 8:30am y solo había un poco de avena, varios panecillos, jugo y manzanas. Ya no quedaba mezcla para waffles. No hay balance pues vi exceso de carbohidratos y nada de proteína. El primer día no utilizamos el servicio debido a que nuestro vuelo se atrasó y llegamos a las 5:30am para dormir un rato. El tercer día decidimos salir afuera para tener un buen desayuno balanceado. El último día bajé a las 8:30am y no quedaba nada, solo pan y un poco de mezcla para waffles y 3 manzanas. Había rastros de revoltillo y una salchicha disecada. Parece que no toman en cuenta la cantidad de personas para calcular los alimentos, pero lo peor es que no es un desayuno balanceado si es que uno alcanza algo. Deben extender el horario hasta las 10:30am porque cuando uno viaja, no es para madrugar. Con solo una tostadora de pan y una para hacer los Waffles, ya se termina el tiempo en la fila… Otro aspecto es el check in pues si no se hace antes de las 12 de la medianoche te cancelan a pesar de llamar para notificar que tenía atraso en el vuelo. No hubo manera de que entendieran y gracias a un familiar que me hizo el check in, no me cancelaron la reservación, pero le exigieron el pago completo. Mi viaje fue por una graduación y no tenía control de la línea aérea. No tienen empatía. Por lo demás, el hotel es muy bueno. "
