Lovely Retreat

Close to everything . Beautiful views of the lake. Nice and quiet location. We really enjoyed staying here very family friendly.

Tournament time on Winnebago

Perfect location for fishing on bago, minutes from boat launches, pleanty of grocery and gas stations nearby.

It was a great property. We loved the screened in porch. Nice and cool in the evenings. It was fun to watch the fireflies. The house needs some TLC. A bit of paint and some touch ups in the outside and a good thorough dusting would do wonders. It was a great place to stay.

Great Weekend - Lambeau Experience!

First Trip to the area. The property met all of our needs in terms of basic amenities and has a nice view of the lake. The location is good....it is a short drive to get into town (Neenah) and an easy drive to Green Bay. Overall, very satisfied with the property and stay. I/we would recommend this property!

Great space

This was a great space that generally fit our needs. The kitchen was decently supplied, and the layout matched the description. The space was fairly clean, although there was an abundance of spiders and webs, so be sure to keep an eye out. The location was also lovely, and right by the lake, and check-in was very easy!

It’s a nice place!! The location is great the lake is right there wish it had a dock but the neighbors were nice enough to let us use theirs! The bugs were really bad at night thankfully the screened in porch is great!! Over all we had a fantastic time!!!

The house and host were very accommodating. The two bedroom house was clean, comfortable and stocked with all necessary items. The host was easy to reach. WIFI worked well and our granddaughter enjoyed watching Disney Plus.

Chose this home for attending LifeFest. Location was great. Description says it sleeps six. There were two twin beds and one full. We were four ladies; thank God I brought a blow up mattress so I had a bed in the living room. Home was beautiful and location was perfect.

Was perfect for our stay

We came up for a fishing trip. Was perfect for our quick stay. Had everything we needed. The only thing that may need addressed in the future is the shower head pressure. It was low it didnt bother me really because I dont have any hair, but my wife has long hair and it was difficult to was soap out of it. Other than that id stay again! Thank you!

Nice little place

Nothing too fancy. Just right for a fishing trip. Beds aren't super comfy and neither is the couch. Just get up and go fishing, you'll be fine.

The house was in a convenient location near my father. Fortunately the weather cooperated and it cooled downed. There was no central air and one of the bedrooms did not have a window unit. Most of the windows had plastic overtop they couldn’t open. There are no deadbolts on the doors. The place needs a deep cleaning, lots of dust and cobwebs. The roosters and chickens were quite social and the rooster noises in the morning…. We’ll need I say more. It was not on lake as advertised, but across a busy street.

The positive things: The house is in a nice quiet location - the chickens in the yard were amusing. There were great views of the lake across the street which was low traffic volume. The interior had beautiful oak flooring throughout and nice cabinets, doors, and trim.The negative things: The house desperately needs painting - first impressions were that it was a dump. The one chair in living room was a wing upholstery chair with one wing broken. The couch was well worn and looked dirty - I couldn't bring myself to sitting in it. The bed frame had been broken and sat on a low metal frame with the headboard leaning against the wall. The linen, blankets, and pillows were of low quality and well worn. If one doesn't sit on the toilet exactly in the center the whole thing leaned to the right and sounded like the water line was going to break - this desperately needs to be fixed.I managed to stay the week as I was gone a lot but if my wife had been with me we likely would have gone to a hotel.For the price paid this was a disappointing experience.

No clean sheets

The property was minimally acceptable until we went to take a nap. The sheets on all three beds were either stained or full of someone’s hair. We complained to the property manager, Nic, who said the sheets were clean. We sent pictures to him and asked for a refund as we had to find another place to stay. So far he has refused. On the other hand if you want to stay at a nice hotel with excellent, friendly staff, the Cambria hotel is where we ended up staying.

Our stay for our fishing trip

The house it self was just as advertised. That was fine and worked perfectly for us. Things that did not work for us was the driveway. It is very narrow and the trees are over grown around it. We managed but getting 2 boats in there really took some work. The other thing was the chickens. There are free ranging chickens which hang around the house all day. So anytime you go outside you had to always be very careful and watch your step and there is chicken poop everywhere.

Beautiful Lakeside Retreat

We stayed here for 2 nights in total. Overall it was a good stay and we were glad we came. The Good: -Beautiful View with a very nice screened in porch -True country feel with live chickens roaming the grounds -Complimentary drinks and snacks -A very private feel The Bad: -Millions and Millions of bugs. Difficult to enter and leave the home without being completely swarmed by what appeared to be some sort seasonal flying insect. This is not an exaggeration. -Had trouble working the shower the first night. Texted the property manager with no response. I did text back shortly after as we figured out the issue and asked to disregard but a follow up text would have been nice as oppose to nothing. -Although we paid a cleaning fee, upon entry there were strange hairs on the toilet and bedding smelled old and used. Seemed clean but def not fresh. Regardless of the cons it really is a beautiful location and if you are going to be in the area I think its worth the experience.

Beautiful Sunrise

We went to the Appleton area to visit family and the house was perfect. It was for the most part clean and the Sunrises were magnificent. The location was also perfect.
