    Peaceful Lake Superior Cottage

    We were greeted by a charming 2 bdrm cottage with a well appointed & comfortable interior & breathtaking views of the lake. 2 decks, 1on the lake, a fire pit, hot tub, lots of deck furniture & comfortable beds. Spacious bathroom & a kitchen with everything needed to cook including spices. All of this with lots of privacy & quiet. Can’t say enough about this property. We will be back.

    Wonderful long weekend

    The cottage was exactly as pictured. We had everything we needed for a relaxing long weekend. Carolyn was great to work with, checking in with weather updates and all of the info needed prior to our arrival. The decks and view are amazing, we can't wait to visit again!

    Feel of Home with Gorgeous Views!

    We visited this cottage Jun 2025 and absolutely loved the space and location. The cottage is beautifully appointed with everything you need for your stay, including a well-stocked kitchen with condiment packages in the fridge and meticulously labeled spices and pantry stables in cupboards. I always fear a shower that has no pressure or a worn-out spray head. Neither were the case here - both the water pressure and spray were perfect. And the owner provides quality toiletries in a neatly kept shower caddy. We also enjoyed the outdoor spaces with a dock at the lake that steps down to the rocky shoreline, a firepit (owner communicated burn restrictions, which were lifted during our visit), and a multi-tiered deck with ample seating and a hot tub. Away from the cottage, there are hiking trails and "back roads" that provided plenty of places to explore. We did not venture outside the cottage and the trails during our stay, however the owner provided brochures and info on local establishments that would add to the fun if you desired time away from the cottage. Lastly, Carolyn (owner) is a fabulous host. She checked in with us consistently and addressed any questions promptly. She has also gone to great lengths to leave instructions throughout the cottage on how things work - from bedroom lights to the hot tub. Highly recommend this cottage and the beauty of Lake Superior and Ontario!

    The Best

    For the first time, the property was better than the pictures shown online. We were looking for a quiet, scenic get away for just the two of us and we found exactly what we were looking for. The cottage was charming and had everything we needed. The location on the lake was very picturesque and peaceful and the surrounding area beautiful. We especially enjoyed the deck by the shore and the hot tub. There were many thoughtful touches throughout the house like the charging pads for phones, the assortment of spices in the kitchen, the outside lighting among many others. We loved this place so much we asked to stay another day and the owner graciously made it happen. We couldn't have asked for a better stay.

    Everything it said it was and more!

    Our stay was wonderful. The house was exactly as advertised. The hot tub was clean and HOT. The views were great! This home is NOT close to town but we knew that when we booked. If you are looking for a Lake Superior retreat to relax in comfort while immersed in nature this is a great choice!

    Serenity

    What an amazing property. In the middle of a giant coldsnap and frozen winter, it served as a place of serenity to get away from the business of everyday life. Even under the weather conditions, this place was a true marvel. Full of peace and nature, it blew us away. Highly recommend going at anytime of the year as host is amazing and communication and helping your stay become magical.

    Great View

    If you are looking for a cozy cabin with a great view of Lake Superior, look no further. It was awesome to sit in the hot tub and look out at the lake. There was also a deck over the shore to just watch the waves or catch a spectacular sunset or sunrise. Overall, highly recommended.

    Goregeous view and super comfortable cottage

    We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage is cozy, well-appointed, clean, and has all the amenities one could desire. Communication was very good with the owner, and we appreciated the tips on some things to keep in mind when crossing the border from the US to Canada (no bear spray!). Would definitely stay here again.

    Gorgeous, inside and out

    A beautiful cottage home in a gorgeous setting surrounded by birch trees, private from neighbors, right on Lake Superior. Beautifully decorated and well appointed with lots of thoughtful touches like the bevy of spices for cooking, two coffeemakers (filters provided), LED candles, vented fireplace for heating, and so many more. Comfortable and quiet, the perfect getaway to unwind. Believe the description and reviews, it’s a gem.

    Amazing Sunrise

    Waking up to the beautiful sunrise with coffee on the deck and a fire what absolutely superb. What more can you ask when you need to unplug and have quiet time. The view is spectacular, the home is set-up with all that you need. All you have to do is bring your stuff and groceries and enjoy the peace of being up north!!!!

    5 Star Wonderful!

    We’ve stayed at many vacation properties through out the years. This one takes the cake though! It’s extremely clean,organized and updated. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Beyond being a wonderful home though, the location takes it over the top. It’s right on the shore of Lake Superior with amazing views. Add to that all the Mink Mountains outside your door - this stay will be hard to beat anywhere else. Don’t hesitate to book here. You won’t be disappointed!

    Beautiful Oasis

    The cabin was cozy and fresh. Very clean and the views were top notch. Very quiet area, with ample driveway, yard, spacious decks, and wonderful hiking trails nearby. We all had a wonderful time. Beautiful spot.

    A Lake Superior treasure - The Cottage in Neebing ON

    In summary, fantastic. The home is a real gem, on a secluded location on Lake Superior. If you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing place in a beautiful area of northwest Ontario this is it. We can’t wait to go back next year!

    Peaceful Retreat

    My wife and I visited The Cottage to get away for 5 days. It’s a very quiet and peaceful place. We didn’t want to leave. We spent many hours gazing at the beautiful view of Lake Superior. The property is very well taken care of and has everything you need. Nearby hiking was easy to access and navigate. The owner is very communicative and wanted to make sure we had a wonderful time. 10/10 highly recommend!

    Perfect Getaway!!!!

    WOW!!!! This property is a real GEM!!! The hot tub and decks offer incredible water views. The outside spaces like the inside are perfectly maintained. I would highly recommend this rental if you want to just relax and enjoy!!!!
