The property was very comfortable. Not fancy but much like home. It was very clean and well maintained. Everything I needed was provided. While I didn't use them, there were many books and movies available for use. Mike and Kim were incredibly helpful with removing the snow from the parking space. Kim even helped me get free when I got stuck in the snow after I first arrived. I particularly enjoyed the workstation in the bedroom. It made it easy to use my laptop. I enjoyed my stay immensely and would stay here again if I want to spend more time in the Nederland area.

Mike and Kim accepted my last minute reservation for a short mountain get-away. I’m grateful they had! Everything about this spot was perfect. Easy access, clean, homey
The owners are accommodating and kind. We enjoyed the fully-outfitted kitchen, having a tub/shower, and a spacious bedroom. A friend stayed on a comfortable mattress that was provided. I would have felt safe (as a woman traveling alone) there.

Great location
We used this apartment as a base for a week of hiking. The location is perfect. Nederland is a short drive away and has a grocery store, restaurants and laundromat. All our fabulous hikes were a half hour or less of driving time. The scenery was gorgeous. The apartment was clean and perfectly set up for outdoor adventures. We stocked the fridge with food from Costco on our way from the airport and filled in with smaller essentials from the market in town. WiFi reception was good. Our hosts were very friendly and accommodating. We would stay again.

Absolutely wonderful accomodation
Very nice landlady; Welcome with a bottle of wine, fruit basket ...; Great TV with all features you may wish; Very comfortable beds; Two spacy bathrooms; We didn't miss anything except a teapot! We'll come back!

Nice, clean, good value
We felt lucky to have a chance to stay here - the place is cozy and nice. Very clean. Not the owner's fault but a word of warning - I had to be aggressive to make it up the hill with a FWD car and an inch of snow. AWD or 4x4 would have been a better idea. Either I didn't read closely enough or it was just slippery that particular day. I got points with the GF for pulling it off, so it worked out in my favor :) Would rent again!

Highly Recommend!
The apartment was spotless, comfortable and a pleasure to stay in. The owners are above so they may have heard us (we’re not loud) and vice versa but for us this wasn’t a problem. We loved having the chickens look in the window at us lol. Everything we could have needed was there both in the kitchen and the apartment. I’d definitely stay there again!

Cozy and thoughtfully outfitted
Family feel, clean and convenient. Just one problem. I weigh 185 lbs. My wife ways 110. The bed was fine for one of us but would sink towards my weight causing my wife to roll down the hill I created. I slept on the couch. It’s a fine little basement apartment that only needs a better bed. Everything else could not have been better.

The rental was immaculate. The location was within walking distance to the center of the town.
This property was a pleasure to rent. The kitchen was well stocked. There were no utensils I could have wanted for. The TV system was top notch. The neighborhood was quiet. It felt like a home away from home. Mike the host is most personable. I highly recommend this accommodation.

Loved our stay in Nederland!
We loved staying at this apartment in the beautiful Colorado mountains! The drive up from Boulder to Nederland is absolutely beautiful. As a single mom traveling with two kids, it was a priority for me to stay in a safe and comfortable location. We felt very safe here and had all that we needed. The owners are very helpful if you have any questions. The house and apartment are nestled on a hillside and very close to the quaint town of Nederland. Loved reading about the history of this mining town! The kids enjoyed two days of skiing at Eldora, less than 15 minutes away. Eldora has great skiing without all the commercial fluff of some of the large resorts. We would definitely love to to visit again someday!

A great stay in Nederland
The location is great, an easy walk into Nederland's downtown area. The apartment was comfortable and a great set-up for two people to work remotely in different areas. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely try to stay here again when we return to the area!

A great home base for hiking in the peak-to-peak area
We picked this place because it offered a great location with a kitchen and WiFi access for remote work. Mike and Kim were great hosts too, offering hiking advice and even clearing the driveway after snow. Would stay here again.

Great 1 Day Getaway
Comfy, cozy place to stay for daughter Rachel & I up for 1-day ski trip. Appliance + thermostat instructions were well marked/posted. Very clean and laid out (really liked the books/guides in both main/front room and bedroom desk. A few dry goods (ex: Oatmeal for breakfast) was a nice touch! Enjoyed watching a movie on Netflix streaming. Only rough part was navigating up the hill on snow pack. Mike was very accomodating in offering alternative parking, driving his car down, picking us up in the Community Center parking lot, loading our gear, and giving us a lift up the road to the VRBO. Can't wait to come back again! Thanks

A private hideout in eclectic, scenic Nederland!
This cozy apartment had everything we needed for a memorable visit. It was the perfect base camp for many gorgeous hikes and visits with nearby family. Our hosts were friendly and responsive. Highly recommended

The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with things like coffee and cooking spices. I didn't like the fact that the TV was set on Fox News and other channels like CNN and MSNBC had been blocked.

This a nice quite place. It sit on a hill with beautiful views. There was even food and beverages available, which was a nice surprise. There is a fire place in the room that is warm and cozy. The kitchen living on combo was had great lighting and was a great place to relax and watch a movie. The owners were generous and very accommodating. Loved our stay! I definitely recommend this location and time of year.

Wonderful time!
This place was ideal for us. It’s an easy walk into town and close to lots of hiking. It was also easy to get down the canyon to Boulder. The condo is comfortable and clean. Mike was super nice and responsive. The chicken in the window well was an added bonus 😂We would definitely stay here again!

One night in Nederland
We really only slept, showered and ate breakfast at this studio. We drove past it everytime because the street sign is hidden on the hill. The gravel driveway was difficult to get out of. The kitchen was nice and there was plenty of room. Nice TV. We had trouble getting ahold of the owners due to email issues but once we did the check in was easy.

Hiking week end in summer time
