0/10 OWNER IS A LIAR. The owner promised to refund our first night and the cleaning fee because the house was so dirty that we could not stay there the first night. He is now refusing to refund us. The house was extremely dirty. Dust on every surface, mouse poop on the bathroom floor, dog hair everywhere, used tissues stuffed into the couch, and dirty dishes in the DIRTY oven. The owner cleans the house himself and does not use professional cleaners. The washing machine inside the house did not work, and we were told to use a washing machine in the garage, which was packed wall-to-wall with junk and felt unsanitary. The septic system was leaking — when using the hot tub or even sitting on the balcony, we could smell sewage. Hot tub is shared with a neighboring property, which is awkward and uncomfortable. There is no trash bin at the property, you have to drive your trash into town to dispose of it. There is also no microwave or toaster and very few bath towels/washcloths. So much more to complain about but there is a character limit. DO NOT RENT THIS PROPERTY!
