"The room did the job - but numerous issues. Missing some basic necessities like a bedside light. Had to use the public wifi from the bar downstairs which was choppy at best. The problems started right from the beginning. Check in according to the website was 10:00pm. But at 8:30pm I had a message saying I wouldn't be able to check in after 9 as the bar shuts at that point. "Cleanliness of the property and facilities good. Description on sleeps upto to 4 and sofa bed inside Sky Pod 1 is incorrect. The sofa is a standard sofa and only contains a double bed. When questioned with host via email I was offered a mattress for hire. When I pointed out the accommodation is advertised as standard sleeps upto 4 and the accommodation is stated sky pod 1 with a sofa bed, I received no response. Also had issues with set up of the TV. "Our accommodation was in a block beside the castle. The window was painted shut, beds were poor, a long walk to toilets and showers and no facilities in the room. The restaurant was closed. I'm ex military and have seen better army barracks."
