the best beach house on the island for this family

Our family loved everything about this beach house! A representative from Blue Moon Vacation Rentals was available beforehand to help, and she greeted us personally at the house. We were immediately charmed by both the interior and exterior spaces. Furnishings were ample and comfortable (especially the beds and linens!), and the up-to-date appliances worked perfectly. For all three generations - kids of all ages - the pool was the preferred hangout, with the beach (a short walk away) a close second. It definitely was the best place we’ve found to stay on the island.

Beautiful, Well Kept Property!

We just had a stay at this property and it was just as beautiful and well kept as the pictures. There were many extra items for the beach, pool, and stay that was a pleasant surprise!

As expected...absolutely wonderful!

Very rarely do you come across a VRBO property that 100% aligns with the description and the reviews. This was a 5/5 property for sure! Location was fabulous, amenities were tremendous. Very remote and quiet - yet close to so many things! We will definitely be back...it was just perfect!

This is a MUST STAY!!!

What a beautiful property in Navarre! This is a MUST STAY! The decor was amazing.....thinking "Farmhouse beachy." The property was absolutely spotless with gorgeous views of the sound and the Gulf. The deck overlooking the pool was a favorite spot and the home was so cozy. Will definitely be back!

Excellent vacation property

This property and Blue Moon Rentals were tremendous. The house was very comfortable and had an excellent coastal vibe. The pool was also great after a warm day at the beach. I would highly recommend staying here and give Blue Moon Rentals an A+.

Great vacation!

Super clean house. Well stocked kitchen. Pool was great & a short walk to the beach. There were however quite a few ants in the kitchen & a couple roaches in the bathroom.

Great spot right near the beach

The location was perfect! A 3 min walk to the beach with kids. Of course, since we were bringing kids to the beach we frequently piled stuff in the minivan and drove 30 seconds where there was plenty of free parking. The beaches were great. A few days there was ALOT of seaweed but that's pretty common for the Gulf in July. The house was pristine. The pool was a little smaller than we expected from the pictures. However, for our 5 and 7-year old it was plenty big enough. I'd say the pool is about 25 ft x 12 ft. But there were not many other homes with pools so we were grateful to have a spot to cool down in the afternoon. A few tips if you stay here: - Bring paper towels, toilet paper, dishwasher detergent, washing machine detergent, and trash bags. They provide a starter amount of each but if you're going to be here a week, you'll def need to buy your own. - Plan 1 or 2 big shopping trips. There's only one road in and out of the island and if there's traffic, it'll be almost a 1 hour round trip. Without traffic, prob 20-30 min. Overall, I'd have no reservations about booking a vacation here again. The house was perfect for the 8 of us (4 adults, 3 kids, 1 baby). The location and the quality of the beaches were top-notch.

Family Vacation

Excellent property. Check in was easy. House was clean and comfortable. Pool was enjoyable. Walk to the beach was easy, however closest walkover has only stairs, no ramp. Perfect vacation.
