"Always a pleasure to stay at Sunley: modern and clean for a correct price. It was more than a year ago since my last stay and I noticed little things in the room started to show some wear and tear. I suggest this get tackled before it’s too late and goes downhill. It’s little thinks like a shower door that doesn’t close perfectly or a noisy bathroom fan. Nothing major, but better to deal with it before standards slip."

"The male (of a certain race) that checked us in looked right past me and greeted my husband when I walked thru the door first and would only deal with him. Even after my husband said I drove and I would fill in the vehicle info, he still asked him to enter the info and would only give him the keys. I felt like I wasn't there! "Typical mid-range, rural conference hotel. Archaic procedures that required you to head to the reception every single time that you wanted to use fitness facilities or pool. Correct, if not very friendly service. Overpriced, but decent restaurant (besides the pub five minutes walk away, the only dining option around here). Hotel had just reopened after holidays so Wi-Fi wasn't functioning for the first 24 hours. Blimey."

"Recently thoroughly enjoyed a two night stay at The Old Vicarage, having visited in Sept 2025, I immediately booked again for Feb 2026. Once again the location was idyllic, our room and shared kitchen were excellent. The owners Gerry & Patricia were fabulous hosts, the dogs Frank & Elsa were very welcoming and the kitten Jennifer was lovely. The breakfasts, both full English and scrambled eggs with salmon were outstanding. In the afternoon we visited the nearby Heart of the Shires Shopping...

"Very comfortable stay & a friendly atmosphere. A fabulous homemade granola, fruit & yoghurt bowl for our breakfast. Plenty of other choices, but we went for it each morning. Hope to be back next year at the same time to meet with friends for The Veteran-Cycle Club Luncheon."
