- NOTE: Please note that this is a rural mountain property located near horses; as a result, flies are common during the hottest weeks of the summer season. We keep the cabin stocked with fly traps and deterrents, and a simple habit of keeping doors closed tight goes a long way toward keeping them outside where they belong. We think the trade-off — sweeping views, fresh air, and horse neighbors — is still very much worth it.
