The mineral pool is great for relaxing and looking at the Chalk Cliffs. Kitchen is well stocked with cookware. The lighting is a bit odd to figure out and could possibly use some updating at some point. All in all it's a unique place and having your own covered mineral pool is something you won't find often, along with the geodesic dome.

This is a truly unique home. It was a great home base for our grown up girls trip. Soaking in the warm pool after a bike ride or a hike, and the groovy vibes will be in my memory forever. I will definitely be back!

Great place. The private hot springs is the reason we went and it is very nice and a very good size. We did not get the WiFi password until we left because we had no internet on our phones to get it, but in the end it was great.

This is such a rare find. Having a large hot springs fed pool is a game changer for anyone looking for a special experience. This home is fun, with beautiful views, abundant wildlife, and nice amenities. Highly recommended.

DO NOT rent! Unless you want to pay exorbitant amounts of non-refundable money to a host who engages in voyeuristic, privacy invading practices in an effort to threaten & extort additional money from guests-even filming very young children, who by all accounts do not count toward occupancy. Host claims to ‘only have security cameras at entry & exits’ but what isn’t reported are the additional cameras capturing audio/video on other buildings on the property pointing into and all around the rental. Host views guests, including your children, without permission, under the guise of ‘safety’. But really it’s a ploy to extract additional money for an already overrated, vermin-infested rental. Guests reported privacy screens broken, run-down interior and exterior w/ mouse&rat excrement everywhere- including in kitchen drawers, on utensils, and underfoot near doors, in hallways, & on decks. There’s a reason it’s a non-refundable rate. Renter beware.

My kids and I loved this geodesic dome house for our Fall break. It was probably our most favorite VRBO to stay in so far. We loved the layout of the home, the 70s vibes and the hot springs pool. It snowed most of the time we were there and the views were amazing. We will be back.

Great place to relax. The water was perfect. We loved that there is room to swim around in the spring and really benefit from stretching out in the hot water. Slept like a rock! Best bed ive had in long time. We never left the property once there so spent some time on the grill. Worked great, but the best part of cooking outdoors there is the wildlife. A family of deer came through everyday with young ones. Turkeys roosted in trees on property so we got to see how they live, even got to see a cute interaction between turkey and young deer. Very cool. Clarks nut crackers and stellar jays everywhere along with chicadees. We will return!

We absolutely loved our stay at this home! Everything was exactly as described (and even better in person) — clean, spacious, and beautifully maintained. The atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable, making it easy to relax and enjoy our time.The kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfortable, there were a lot of common spaces to sit, relax, spend time with other guests, watch TV..Home surroundings are awesome, views are breathtaking.The hot springs pool - the highlight of this property - is fantastic! We loved it so much.Communication with the host was excellent — check-in was simple, all instructions were clear, and the host response was almost immediate. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, which made our trip completely stress-free.Overall, this home exceeded our expectations in every way. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful getaway!

A GEM of a vacation home

I hope the owner and future visitors continue to take care of this beautiful property so we can all visit this lovely home for years to come. The home is beautiful, tastefully decorated in a way that honors the history and architecture. It had everything we needed; plenty of pillows, soft beds & blankets, seating areas with beautiful views. My partner and I enjoyed bird watching from the deck and windows and listening to the sounds of the rain on the roof. The pool was so clean and relaxing, I spent hours in it. We wanted to treat ourselves to a little getaway for our mental health and it was so peaceful and quiet, we read our books and crocheted. I'd love to come back to this rental in the future with friends and family. The home does not offer much privacy from other guests due to the architecture, but the owner is very forthcoming with that info in the listing. The owner was quick to respond to messages.

The pool was extremely relaxing, and the home was very unique. The host was super nice and helpful. The dome windows were dirty, which made it difficult to look out the window. The pictures of the listing are slightly misleading, and the grounds around the property are very overgrown, so we were unable to go out. It’s also gets really warm in there, but there are plenty of fans. We had a great time regardless.

Retro Meets the Outdoors

It's very hard to describe what it is you're getting here at the dome. Our experience was outstanding! The retro 70s decor is amazing, and the private hot spring pool was even more amazing than we expected. Everything about it was charming and fun. Highly recommended!

Refreshing and Restorative

We greatly enjoyed our stay at the dome house. Although there were a few MINOR things about our stay that could have been better (the water temperature was slightly cooler than we expected and the kitchen knives and can opener were flimsy and difficult to use), we think the overall experience was fantastic. We absolutely loved our time there!
