This mountain home was perfect in every possible way. The attention to detail in both design and functionality made for luxurious escape from the woes of the world. Starting with the planning stage to finishing up our check out communication with the owner could not have been better. She anticipated every desire, ranging from pellets to feed the potbelly stove to fresh coffee beans to be ground for a French pressed coffee. Thank you Ms. Chanda for sharing your beautiful home with my wife and I, we will forever be grateful and Monarch Mountain will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Incredible Mountain Experience

Chanda's place was absolutely amazing! I have stayed in many vacation homes in Colorado, and this was easily one of my favorites. The house itself just wowed our group, and there were so many little extras that make the place unique. Everything was so clean and so well thought out, the comfortable rooms made it easy to relax, and the location of the house felt secluded even with neighbors. The outside hot tub and trail to the stream and firepit put this place in a different league for me. Plus you get great mountain views from the deck. 100% would stay here again when in the area! so clean and so

Summer Getaway

This is a beautiful property. Our family of four had plenty of room. The three bedrooms were large and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. We especially enjoyed the hot tub, the large deck in the mornings and the stream in the back!

Amazing

This property is amazing! After hiking Mt Princeton we came back and jumped in the ice cold river on the property and then got in the hot tub. We sat and gazed at the stars while enjoying the gas fire-pit, they also have a wood burning. We enjoyed the porch swing while watching the hummingbirds dance. We made dinner while there and wanted for nothing as the attention to detail is like no Vrbo I have ever stayed in. The only negative to this property is that we didn’t book enough nights, we were all bummed to leave. We will certainly be back.

Lovely stay in the woods

Lovely home with lots of extra touches. We loved the property and amenities the house offered. Hot tub was fantastic after a long hike or river rafting on the chilly Arkansas. Check out was easy peasy too. Only negative was the a/c was only a first floor window unit and the upstairs king master suite got quite warm. With windows open and two fans going, it would cool off around 3am. The queen upstairs room was a great temperature as it was on the side of the house that got the breeze. That being said, we had a great stay and would definitely come back.

Exceptionally beautiful house that is very thoughtfully and creatively decorated! The outside is just gorgeous as well. House was one of the cleanest we have ever stayed in, and even had baby gates!

Quiet Mountain Cabin

We throughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean and the beds were super comfortable. It had everything we needed for our family of four. We enjoyed our down time in the family room with the view of the mountains. The property was beautiful and well kept.

Immaculate and Peaceful getaway

The cabin is very peaceful and perfect for our family getaway. We used this as a base to explore Salida, spend a day at Noah's Ark aerial park, hit the Hot Springs, & go Hiking (Brown's Falls - a nice 6 mile out-and-back hike and the trailhead is only 12 minutes away). New hot tub was a perfect way to end the day. The cabin itself is so tastefully well-appointed and comfortable we were sad to have to leave it. Definitely looking forward to a future stay. 5-stars for sure!!!

Wonderful cabin with nice view of Mount Antero

We really enjoyed our stay in this cabin in Nathrop with a view of Mount Antero. The layout of cabin was very comfortable, cozy and roomy. Very clean! Beautiful scenery and wildlife. Kitchen was nicely stocked and a real cook's kitchen. We loved strolling down the paths to the rushing burbling creek, so relaxing! Thanks so much.

Great place for anniversary!

The trails are absolutely beautiful and the course is also beautiful. Had everything we needed for making a fancy dinner. There we so many different relaxing things to do. Was a great process overall as well!

Cabin in the mountains

The interior was quite nice and the exterior was even more so. Trails that lead to a small forested area with a creek and a fire pit. Not to mention the location, plenty of beautiful peaks to summit.

The home is beautiful and I took many long walks in the neighborhood. I walked with my binoculars because the neighborhood is lightly forested and there are many high grasses. The property sits on a creek and is truly beautiful.

Beautiful property

Our family of five had a long weekend getaway here. The house was clean and had all the amenities you could want. Definitely the best house we’ve stayed at. Short walk to the creek and short drive to grocery and eating. Can not wait to stay here again!
