Great location near all the action

Property was clean. Perfect for our stay. Walking distance to honky tonk row and the country music museum. Check-in process was easy. Great location. Never felt unsafe at all. Parking onsite. Very convenient place to stay if visiting Nashville

Great downtown location to stay at

Enjoyed my stay at the SoBro Guest house. Very convient location to get to and the downtown was in easy walkable distance. I felt safe walking to and from the apartment at night and great building security. Outside noise was minimzed and they provided a white noise machine to make it even easier for a good night (or morning) sleep.

Wife’s birthday in Nashville!

First of all, let me say the location was magnificent! Walking distance to everything. Room was spacious… Clean… And quiet. Will definitely be back.

Quick and easy

Location is easy to find, just a short walk(5 min) to broadway. Only surprise was that it was 3 storey with stair access, non issue for us. Maybe i hadn't read the details well enough Really great, clean space. Highly recommend.

Nice place, good location to access Broadway. 3 floors so if stairs are an issue ask about floor. Host very responsive to any issues. Having washer & dryer a plus.

This was the fourth time we have stayed at the SoBro by Black Swan. Such a cool place!

This is the fourth time we’ve stayed at the SoBro by Black Swan. We absolutely love it’s eccentricity, and the fact that it’s just a short walk to most of our favorite places to visit (Downtown, Broadway, Riverfront Park and the pedestrian bridge, the Ryman…I could go on)! However, it’s far enough off of the main drag that it’s quiet when it’s time for bed! Such a cool place to stay! It’s def a hidden gem with its decor and space. Feels like home…a very hip version! Check in and out are so very easy and convenient! Two coded locks to get to your space. So, you feel safe and secure. There is no check-in desk or staff like a traditional “hotel/motel” experience. So, if you need items, there is often a little bit of a wait. However, every time we’ve stayed, and needs we identified we’re easy to communicate to the hosts, and fulfilled pretty quickly…and staff who responded were friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely be back! We LOVE the place! It’s an experience…not just “lodging”!

Great Nashville Location

This is our sixth visit to Nashville and we have stayed at several different locations. This place was within walking distance to The Listening Room, Broadway, Country Music Museum and many other Nashville locations. It is perfect for a couple or friends getaway. Free parking was also a bonus. The staff was friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again.

Not portrayed accurately

So this place I rated as okay. There are pros and cons to this location. It is def not portrayed accurately on the VRBO website. They called this a 4 star hotel and this is definitely a two star. The pictures online make the place look really nice but they don’t keep up with the property to keep them looking nice ie scuffed wooden floors, scuffed or damaged furniture, black marks all over floorboards, etc. I was extremely dismayed at the cleanliness of this place especially during a pandemic. I had to request my floors to be cleaned because no one even swept this room. I had to clean the entire place from top to bottom and it was gross how unclean the whole place was. The dishes in the pantry were all dirty with food stains and lipstick stains and I had to clean them all. I didn’t like how the AC unit is in the living room so you pretty much have to leave the bedroom door open to get any airflow in there when you sleep. They have a fan in the bedroom but if you shut the bedroom door is still gets too hot. You could open the window in the bedroom if it’s cool at night/day but as a nightshift worker I had to blacken these shutters by using tinfoil all over the shutter (can’t hang blackout curtains) and I lost function of the window after doing this. Communication with staff is also lacking and didn’t feel as cared for as i have at other locations. Pros to this hotel: the location is amazing and is close to Broadway, restaurants, bars, and the bike trail system. You can walk to get to places or take a short Lyft ride. The hotel feels more like an apartment as opposed to a hotel feel. I liked the separation of rooms and having a full kitchen as I was staying for greater than a month for work. The rates are nice when you stay long term but I would never pay more than $50 a night for this place even if I was staying short term. The windows open and let in nice refreshing air which was super nice for my fall stay. Overall, if your staying long term and want an apartment feel with a full kitchen and be in a great location then you may be able to overlook all the cons I mentioned. My stay wasn’t horrible, it just didn’t meet expectations that were setup through the pictures. There are so many nice hotels in this area so make sure to look around before settling on this place.
