The neighborhood, although a little sketchy, was conveniently located near downtown. The condo, much to our surprise, had a 20-step stairway just to get to the apartment door. Once inside, after dragging our suitcase up those 20 steps, there was another similar set of stairs to the main living area. The place could use a fresh coat of paint, and the first bedroom has signs of water leakage from somewhere. Otherwise, the space was clean. Most senior citizens like me and my guests would have preferred not to have to climb those stairs. It wasn't clear from the listing that so many steps would be involved. While there is plenty of street parking, I would be reluctant to leave my car parked there overnight. Fortunately, we were able to get a space in the "garage."
