The loft is very unique! The beds were comfy and the living space was very nice. The location is perfect. We were on Broadway in literally 5 mins. Those 24 stairs are a bummer, but you get over that once you walk in the door. It is a very quiet welcoming space.That being said, there are some definite issues with the property. Since we spent such a short amount of time in the unit, we did not make a big stink about it. We had 10 adults in the unit and it certainly was big enough to accommodate us. However, as a group who rents VRBO’s 2 to 3 times a year, there are things we notice that are worth mentioning. First, there is only a 3 cup coffee maker…..we spent an hour in the morning just making coffee. There is a Keurig there, but that was not mentioned in the listing. The loft is rated for 10 people, but there are not enough dishes, utensils or drinking glasses to accommodate that many people. We had to use wine glass when we wanted a glass of water or juice. The building is old, which is part of its charm, but the electrical system blew any time a blow dryer was used. None of the fans in the entire unit worked.The heat in the upstairs bedrooms was spotty and we had to call maintenance twice and wound up using portable electric heaters instead of the splits. Again, the upside is, maintenance was very quick to respond.All in all, we would probably stay there again, just based on comfort and charm.
