The property over all was very nice. Beautiful property don’t get me wrong but with a few exceptions! The lower lever of the house was freezing cold in order keep the rest of the house adequately cooled. And we needed that space to accommodate our family. HVAC needs major adjusting. Can’t imagine staying there in the winter using the lower level. Also not pictured or mentioned there are 4 built in bunk beds in said lower level that of course the children wanted to stay in and we had no bedding for them and had to buy some and after a few days they were cold too. The pool after day 3 had dozens dead frogs in it and the skimmmer. Chlorine pucks dissolved after 2-3 days. Smelled horrible so that ended the pool for us. Also the bathroom to the main first floor bedroom seems to have black mold all around the shower area in the grout and could be updated. The gas stove looks impressive but that too needs adjustment on the burners. Also kitchen could use more standard items. Our family has stayed in dozens of properties in the Finger Lakes so I am only going off of what I have experienced and what I expect for what you are paying.

Relaxing family getaway!

We enjoyed our time at this clean and private home. It was equipped with all of the necessities for our family. Our kids loved swimming in the pool and playing the game of pool. We enjoyed hiking Watkins Glenn State Park and Grimes Creek, and absolutely fell in love with Monica’s grape pie. Our dog loved the huge private yard to play endless amount of fetch with his family.

Naples peace

Overall we had a such a wonderful stay for the weekend. The property is stunning and set far back from the main roads, it was so peaceful not to hear traffic or surrounding neighbors and hear the melodies of birds and nature! The home itself has an openness too it that leaves you relaxed. It was truly difficult whether to enjoy the beauty of the outdoors or a light atmospher inside. We had the hardest time wanting to leave and look forward to planning a time to come back!

Beautiful stay with a view !

We had a wonderful Friday-to-Monday stay at this lovely home in Naples, NY. The property was clean, comfortable, and well kept, with beautiful grounds and stunning views of Canandaigua Lake thanks to its elevated location.The open, fully stocked kitchen made cooking meals a breeze, and even though we had a couple rainy days, we stayed entertained with the pool table and a fun vintage Ms. Pac-Man game.Check-in was seamless, and the property owner was incredibly accommodating and communicative throughout the entire process.One thing to note: the driveway is quite steep, so I’d recommend an all-wheel drive vehicle, especially in wet weather.Overall, a fantastic getaway, we’d absolutely stay again!

What a great place for a fun, quiet getaway!!

We loved our stay here! Tons of things already furnished in the house to make packing easier. All the comforts of home! Privacy is second to none. The serenity of this house is exactly what we needed to get away from the city. The hosts are incredible and we definitely would stay here again. Very clean, stocked, comfortable and fun! We actually fell asleep by the pool, we were so relaxed. 😌 Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Just Book it!

Amazing views of the mountains and the lake. Private, secluded, tranquil, quiet, peaceful—these are just a few words that come to mind to describe the atmosphere of the property. Huge pluses include a heated pool, firepit, and dog-friendly accommodations. If you’re planning to cook during your stay, it has everything you need (even a kitchen apron!). The village of Naples, just a short drive away, has a great market called Joseph’s Market that offers seasonal fruits and veggies, breads, oils, jams, and even steaks. Stunning Views

We had a great time at this property. We would definitely come back. We loved the property. It had everything you could want to enjoy your time there. The hot tub, the pool, and the view is magnificent!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I think my granddogs will miss it the most. They had a great time as well.

Spectacular Vacation

We Loved every moment of our vacation at this beautiful home. It has a fabulous open floor plan with gorgeous views overlooking the pool, with Canandaigua Lake & the hillside vista beyond. Home is well appointed with everything needed. Coffee on the deck In the AM watching the sunrise was glorious. The property is extremely private & quiet. Unbelievable Star gazing at night. Everything needed for a spectacular vacation. Ie: Pool, pool table hot tub, fire pit, cornhole. Outside the property there are many things to do in Naples, Canandaigua, breweries, wine tasting, hikes, etc. Great cookies at Company Store not far down the road & Cheshire Farms Creamery has fabulous ice cream/coffee in Canandaigua. The driveway absolutely requires the vehicle as stated in description. Thank you Annie & Gary!!! We hope to be back next Summer!

Lots to do

This is a lovely property, close to lots to do, and lots to do even if you never leave the house. The house is updated, has a big room with a nice pool table (not in a basement or “kid area” like most), a lovely pool, a fire pit, and a hot tub. Very comfortably sleeps 6 but one of the rooms isn’t closed off with a door. The hosts are responsive and very detailed (very helpful), and easy to work with. There are a few minor things in the house that need attention/updates, like, there are only 5 forks in the kitchen, the bottom of the two chairs on the deck have collapsed, and minor wall repairs are needed here and there. Nothing major and the hosts do provide a lot of little extras, like plenty of trash bags, dish tabs, laundry tabs, cooking oils, and even a welcome bottle of wine from the region. Very welcoming. It’s a high per day cost compared to other properties in the area but it’s worth it!

Wonderful Girls Trip

What a wonderful way to spend time with your girlfriends then to do it at this lovely house! We had an amazing time and are thankful to our hosts for allowing us to stay at their home. The views are stunning and the house was just what we needed. We would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to get away and enjoy what Naples and Canadaigua has to offer. Amazing stay with amazing views!

This is an incredible getaway stay. It's high up with a stunning view of the lake from every window. Clean and inviting, the rental was ready for a weekend stay perfectly. The extra amenities such as the pool, hot tub and pool table were a hit as well and got much use during our stay. 10 out of 10, can't recommend enough. Thanks!

Pictures don’t do it justice

We absolutely loved everything about this house and location. Stunning views of Canandaigua Lake and hills. Sunrise and Sunset just stunning. So many amenities, fireplace, fire pit, pool table and beautiful large deck with a grill and tables and chairs to enjoy the view while you eat. There is also a great swimming pool but not open this time of year. The kitchen was gorgeous with hi tech appliances. Will definitely be back and the hosts were fantastic to work with. Also pet friendly so that was a major plus for us!

Release Your Worries + Clear Your Mind

If you're looking for a unique property to release your worries and clear your mind...this is the place! As it is written, you must have a AWD/4WD vehicle and I will tell you "that's the truth!" Without this type of vehicle, you'll not reach this beautiful property. I'm in my mid 70s + use a cane and/or treking poles while walking, etc. + I found this home was accessible for me.. there is a main floor master bedroom w/bath. The two other bedrooms (both with a full bath) were on different levels of the home. All were fully accessible for me + my guests. This property offers the peace + tranquility that is truly needed in our present lives... I was a guest from Monday 4pm check in - Wednesday 10 am check out. During this short stay I witnessed a beautiful pink sunrise sky, a star show, an early a.m. greeting by dear roaming around the apple trees, pure silence + all the other sounds a secluded property could offer. These experiences are hard to have when living in the city but at this property, you'll feel like you won the lottery!! This property had been well designed... great inground pool (a short distance from the home) with a very comfortable furniture grouping allowing you to enjoy as much time as you wish; the firepit area was designed so that you could view and enjoy the property from a different perspective while sitting around the fire; and lastly the hot tub was the cherry on top! It was a delightful stay...DO IT! You won't be disappointed. R+ to owners!

Eagles Nest didn't disappoint

Beautiful as advertised. View awesome,plenty of area fir the grandkids to play,we all enjoyed the pool and hottub. The pool table was a great source of fun for all. The road up to house is in need repair.

Canandaigua Lake House

The house and property were amazing and exactly what my family needed for our annual vacation together. We had an easy time entertaining ourselves with a heated pool, large private lawn for games, hot tub, and pool table inside. The owners were clear with instructions and easy to get ahold of if needed.

Peaceful setting

Truly an amazing property. House is as described but pictures do not do it justice. We had perfect weather and used the pool and hot tub daily. Had a few minor issues and owners were prompt to respond. Detailed information when checking in was very helpful. Do not let the warnings about the driveway deter you but all wheel or 4 wheel drive is a must. We hope to return someday

We wanted to visit the finger lakes and this cabin was perfect. It had everything we needed for our week of fun. The kitchen is spacious with everything you need. The pool and hot tub were so relaxing.
