Grab the beach chairs, towels, umbrella, and cooler provided and head for the white sand beaches of either Vanderbilt or Delnor-Wiggins State Park. Rent jet-skis, a boat, kayaks, or paddle boards and explore the Gulf of Mexico. Build sand castles, spend the day shelling or sunbathing. Visit a near-by marina for a fishing charter or sunset cruise. Evening offers dining beachfront at The Turtle Club at The Vanderbilt Beach Resort, The Grill or Gumbo Limbo at the Ritz, or Baleen at LaPlaya Beach Resort to catch amazing sunsets. Two theaters are within an easy walk, Silverspot Cinema and Paragon Pavilion, providing for rainy day activities.
