Family trip to Maui
Overall, the condo was satisfactory. At first check-in, we immediately noticed the entry door is not set properly and makes a loud screech every time you open and close it. I am sure that is not fun for the neighbors to hear it every time we had to enter or leave the condo. The furniture is very outdated and we noticed that the property was not “deep cleaned.“ It was clean on the surface, but there was a lot of dirt and dust if you looked closer. The mattresses were very old and outdated, although they were sufficient after long days on the beach. It was also very nice to have some leftover beach chairs and toys from previous renters for us to use during our trip. After looking at other properties around West Maui, we feel that this property was priced very high for the quality that you got. It was in a beautiful setting in terms of the grounds, with a great view of the ocean and watching Wells off the back porch. Also, it is a tropical climate and this property had a hard time with smaller insects (springtails?). They are really small, but you can see them all over the countertops and in the bathroom and sinks. We did not notice them anywhere else in our beds but something to be aware of for this property.
