Awesome condo at a great location, Sands of Kahana! The condo looks even better in person & was very spacious to accommodate our group of 7. The resort is the cherry on top with plenty of amenities to enjoy like a game room, pickleball, basketball, mini golf, etc. Would 100% return again to 474!

Very spacious and clean with en suite bathrooms in each bedroom. Kitchen is well stocked with plates, utensils, etc. Ocean, beach and sunset view from the primary bedroom and living room. Lanai with beach/ocean/sunset view is only accessible through primary bedroom. Bring your own body wash or extra soap as only a very small bar of soap is provided.

Perfect for our famiy.

Great vacay with grandparents, adult children and in-laws and grandkids. Plenty of room for us all. The only suggestion I would have is to add some bakeware to the kitchen. Found it difficult to do some of our meals. Otherwise, it’s fantastic!

Fantastic ocean views and plenty of room

Everything was wonderful and Sands of Kahana is in a great location. The penthouse was clean, well stocked and had fantastic ocean views. Places to visit while there are Mama’s Fish House and the Old Lahaina Lu’au. We were not happy with the following: There was no bar and restaurant as it is under construction. Other areas were also under construction. I understand that maintenance/updates are needed but not with the fact that the construction was not disclosed and that the property was listed as having a bar and restaurant.

Enjoyed Our Stay!

My husband and I have stayed at the Sands of Kahana in the past and have always enjoyed our stay. The property has easy beach access and two pools (including a spa and a children’s pool). The beach is a little bit on the smaller side, but it doesn’t generally feel really crowded. The ocean is pretty gentle on this little beach on this side of the island, which is what we prefer. Parking is generally pretty easy, but some of the spots can be on the smaller side. There are tennis courts, smaller gyms in each of the buildings, a restaurant near the beach that has a daily happy hour, and lastly, there are paddleboards, kayaks, etc. that you can rent (as long as wind permits). The elevators can be a little slow. The penthouse has three separate bedrooms and they all have an ensuite bathroom and a balcony / lanai. The views outside each of the rooms (including the common area) are really gorgeous. Sullivan provides a pretty solid starter kit – each bathroom has about two rolls of toilet paper and hand soap (it might be in the original bottle or in the decorative dispenser), the kitchen had a small bottle of Dawn and two paper towel rolls, and the laundry room contained a small bottle of detergent. While they don’t provide any beach or pool equipment, they do keep any equipment that is in good condition that people leave behind and there was a pretty decent selection. Lastly, there was an A/C unit that kept the place nice and cool. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Comfortable and spacious

We enjoyed our stay here. It was clean and comfortable. Little critiques are the water downstairs was set to be just a little too cold. The light switches were confusing. Other than that we were comfortable on the mattresses for 12 days. No one was crammed anywhere.

Nice location perfect for two families

This is a great spot with a nice pool, pool bar, beach access and view. It says it's the penthouse but there technically is another suite above this one. There is a great view of the ocean and mountain but you can't see the sunset from here which is a shame. All said it was worth the money, will maintained, recently updated and very clean. We enjoyed our time very much and thank you for making this available.

Celebrating my younger son’s 30th Birthday!

We had a great time. Loved all the amenities on property and worked with Tess, your concierge. She was awesome. Went above and beyond! My only complaint was the extremely low lighting in bedrooms and living room. It was dismally dark.

Beautiful Oceanside Condo

This condo was a dream! It was so beautiful, spacious, and clean! The photos don’t do the condo justice. The staff of the property were so nice and kind. We never had a bad experience with anyone at the complex. The condo literally has everything you need for your stay. The only negatives were the lighting which was really poor and the lamps weren’t bright enough to read in the evenings. The second negative is the banging of the doors when it’s very windy outside. We had to put paper towels in the doors to stop them for shaking. Other than those two things the condo was amazing!

Great place for family stay!

We enjoyed our stay very much! We never had a problem getting a chair on the beach and we had a perfect view of it. Very clean and comfortable for 8 people. A/C worked super well. I do wish there were more basic supplies-tp, beach towels, a pan or cookie sheet.

Sands of Kahana 474

Our stay was lovely and the condo was better than expected. It was so nice to have the beach, pool and a restaurant right downstairs. It was windy during our stay so it sounded like doors were banging shut all night which might be a problem for light sleepers.

Exceeded our expectations!

Gorgeous Property with amazing views. The owners have done a fabulous job updating and decorating. We loved the vibe of the house, the lovely art and ocean or mountain views from every window. It was stocked well with everything we needed. Loved having a gourmet kitchen and a washer and dryer. Very, very clean. We have stayed in many vacation rentals and sometimes the pictures are better than the property. This was was even better in person. Thank you hosts for providing such a wonderful stay for our family!

Magical stay in Paradise!

This was a perfect unit for my family. The unit has three separate master squires with their own bathrooms. The Sands of Kahana has the feel of a resort with the comforts of home. The unit has a great air condition unit that was great as our room was always comfortable. The kitchen has been updated with all néw appliances. The beds are all very comfortable. The view from the unit is amazing. We could see turtles pop up in the water right out front of our room. The beach out front has a reef where we saw beautiful sea life and turtles every day. The pool and the beach were never too crowded. I would definitely return to this unit!
