We very much enjoyed our stay. The view was beautiful and the kids enjoyed the pool. The kitchen was extremely understocked-especially with plates and bowls which was disappointing. Despite this, we would return!

Great Location

We stayed a week at Kahana Sunset D6. Unit was perfect. Remodeled, comfy beds, and great location. Private beach and BBQ made the stay convenient for a family vacation.

Beautiful and Comfortable Vacation Spot

We stayed with a family of 5 and had a wonderful time at the Kahana Sunset. D6 was a great unit with 2.5 bathrooms (the extra half bath downstairs came in handy). Everything that you need for a fun and relaxing vacation.

Sleepy quiet location away from it all

Kahana Sunset is a great little spot with a nice pool and small beach. The grounds are well maintained and the location is easy to find. D6 is in a great spot in the complex with beautiful views. The kitchen and main area are nicely updated and the decks have suitable patio furniture. Bedrooms are a decent size but bedding is tired and bathrooms are musty and dreary. Both main bathrooms are set up with sink outside of the toilet/shower area and in one case it’s directly in the bedroom which was odd. Fans in both main bathrooms, which are connected to lights, were very loud, and would wake others in the space when used at night. The kitchen has decent cookware and plates but nothing else. Literally nothing in space such as salt and pepper or coffee filters etc. We ultimately had a lovely stay because of location but the volume of fees and costs was high for what we got from the unit etc.

Great Time!

We had a great time in Maui and the location of this property was great! Unfortunately the property beach had very little sand to play and the water was a little rough for our kids to play in it. So we had to drive about 5-7min to nearby beaches. However, the nearby beaches (Kapalua Beach and Napili Beach) were family friendly, and the sand and water were amazing. AC was not an issue as they have floor and ceiling fans throughout the place. We brought our binoculars and we were able see the whales from the master bedroom’s patio. The pool was nice and never crowded. We cooked all meals at the house and never had a problem with missing utensils, pots and pans. The only thing it would have been nice to have at the house, were blackout curtains in all the bedrooms and in the master bedroom, one curtain that would cover the whole wall since it had glass (see through).

Loved the location and views!

We enjoyed the location and views of this property. We watched whale from our deck whenever we were on it -- breakfast, lunch, happy hour, etc. It was great to have space to cook breakfast, 3 bathrooms, beds for everyone, etc. Highly recommend!

Great Family Getaway

Lovely property! Large enough for our 2 grown sons and ourselves. The only regret was no Airconditoning. July is a little warm to not have Airconditoning. Other than that, perfect!

Amazing Property

We had a fantastic stay at Kahana Sunset! The private beach was perfect and we enjoyed many sunsets and even snorkeled out to see the sea turtles and fish. The property was well maintained and the unit had everything we needed for our week long stay. We will definitely be back!

Great Condo! Low key and quite complex.

We loved our stay here. The property overall was very nice and the condo was great. It was stocked with everything a normal kitchen would have. The layout was nice and beds were comfortable. I really like the low key feel of this place as apposed to a big resort. You can park just feet from your front door, use the poolside grills (which were super clean) and play on the small secluded beach without crowds. The ocean view was nice. We traveled with 4 kids and being able to stock up at Costco when we landed and prepare most of our own meals made our trip much more affordable as food on Maui is very expensive. My only complaint is before we arrived I check with the rental company regarding the on-site amenities and was told that there is a gym and an on-site restaurant and both are open for business. Perhaps they mixed this place up with another property because this place has neither of these. Still 5 stars though because I don’t think their actual listing claims to have these.

Great stay

My family's 9-day stay was wonderful. The property had everything we needed from accommodations to amenities to activities. It was great to be a minute walk to the private beach, pool and BBQ. Pictures and description are accurate. I didn't have a need to interact with the property manager, but they were readily available and communication throughout was as expected. Only drawback was the intermittent internet. Other than that, would happily stay again.
