"Slightly tired rooms but a lovely pub/restaurant with great staff. Fantastic location just at the top of the high street and only a couple of minutes from the National Trust property. A bit noisy but that’s the price you pay for the location. Recommended!"

"The room was clean, well furnished and had a cozy feel. We would stay here again, however, there were some minor issues. The toilet flush ran continuously and was audible at night. The cover over the shower plughole was broken and the lead on the kettle was too short and had to be used on the floor. Also the mattress was too firm for us."

"A very pleasant stay! Lovely large room and the bar and restaurant was great. Comfortable bed and good shower. They even made me food after the kitchen was closed. Only negative was the mini single use plastic shower gels and shampoos. Refillable soap and shampoo dispensers would make it perfect! "

"On this visit we stayed in room No.1. I'm sorry to say it was not suitable for letting. The very noisy extractor fand made sleeping impossible, it was hot and we had 2 dogs, you couldn't open the windows because of the noise whivh started at 5:20am, even with windows shut it droned really loudly."

"Fantastisk koselig hotell/pub i en enda mer fantastisk typisk engelsk landsby. Knutsford er ett lite sted med masse flotte butikker og spisesteder i landlige erkeengelske omgivelser. Cross Key Hotel passer utmerket inn i bildet og er ett hotell/pub med sjarm og høy standard på rom, dog kan selvfølgelig noe pusses på og en Beer Garden sommerstid var flott å sitte ute på. God frokost og typisk pubmat forøvrig med meget velutstyrte rom. Kommer igjen !"

"Estuve una noche en The King William. Es cómodo y se ajusta a calidad y precio. No es un sitio para familias (con hijos) ya que está en un pub y hay mucho ruido sobretodo sábado por la noche. Está bien situado en Wilmslow. Muy cerca del aeropuerto y a 20 minutos del centro. Muy bien comunicado."

"Long drive to get to this one. But arrived to find a nice local pub/hotel. Check was ok and straight my room. Good wifi, kettle, comfortable bed and small table to work at. Had dinner in the restaurant which was nice although seemed to take a fair while to arrive. My only issue was breakfast not served until 8.30 which is not good when you are here for work. Probably in the small print when i booked it but didn't notice it. Left my key in the room at the hotels request when checking out....
