Everything was as described! Communication and cleanliness was fantastic. The outside deck area is great. They also included two beach towels and chairs. The location is great. Two miles from town, two miles from Surfside Beach. Right on the bike path and .5 miles from a bike rental place. There’s also a nearby bakery and cafe, as well as a pizza place.

Great location mid island, outdoor space was a really nice perk to the quaint room and bathroom was a good size. Loved having a fridge, microwave and TV for unwinding at the end of the day and the complimentary beach chairs were so great. Patricia is responsive and super helpful, we’ll definitely be back!!

Perfect!

Very cute place -- perfect space for my wife and me. The outdoor space with both low top and high top seating is great -- we spent plenty of time relaxing between visits to downtown, the beach, Cisco Brewery and some bike rides. Pretty much everything you need is provided, from beach towels, beach chairs, toiletries, coffee, water, etc. Communication from the host was consistent and timely, and response time was lightning fast when I had a question or needed help while on the island. Loved it!

Quaint and quiet!

This was a wonderful stay! Quiet and secluded - but the back deck was just as big as the indoor space, if not larger. You do have to get a ride (or bike) into town - my only issue was that I forgot to pack snacks/food for myself! Other than that (which was my own issue) the stay was absolutely perfect.

The perfect spot for two!

I stayed here with one of my girlfriends while our husbands were on island for a golf weekend, we found “The Trainstation” to be even better than we anticipated from the listing! The space was very thoughtfully and aesthetically designed, you are provided everything you need for a comfortable stay. The area was clean and the outdoor space is the cherry on top, a peaceful and well appointed deck with ample seating for relaxing. The location is in a great area, only a short drive or bike ride to town and close to other points of interest. We had the best time staying here and would absolutely love to stay again!

Much better than expected

Such an intelligently arranged property and room. The outside area was fabulous with a wonderful garden. I was particularly intrigued by the train! Everything was perfect. Highly recommend, just not really walking distance to center town. We had bikes so it was great. Private and quiet. Nice neighborhood.

2-night stay

This is a tiny room and even smaller bathroom, outside of town in a converted garage apartment. It is very clean with nice linens and very comfortable bed. There is a lovely deck, which saved use because the bedroom is for sleeping only--no space to walk, sit, etc.. There is a small refrigerator which the owner kindly stocked with waters, seltzer, and coffee. The owner, Patricia, was extremely accommodating, and we were happy to meet her on a walk. The room suited us, as we needed a quick 2-night stay, and we know the island well. It is removed from Town, so those who are visiting for the first time will need a car to get around.

Perfect for what I needed...a place to sleep with a private bath. Great communication from the owner and easy to get in and out of. It's just a bedroom with a bathroom/shower, but it's cozy and a great patio/deck area for early morning or evening leisure time. Thank you as well for accommodating an early check-in!

Perfect for two

Loved this place. Very small, but very clean, well stocked with necessities, and all we needed to sleep at night and enjoy the island by day. Easy access to bus line and big TV for unwinding at the end of the day. Thanks again!!

A private little peaceful getaway

This property did not disappoint. Patricia was wonderful to communicate with. The immaculate cottage is tucked behind (and attached to the main house). The neighborhood is quiet and with easy access to the bus and bike path. The cottage comes with a beautiful deck, great for reading or having breakfast. The bed is a double and considered on the small size. The refrigerator and microwave came in handy. For a bit more $, Cook’s bikes delivered and picked up for us. This property was a quick 7 minute drive to Town. One of our favorite breakfast places is a quick bike ride away (the Downyflake-closed on Weds). Stop and Shop, a pharmacy, and the Island Kitchen are also a quick bike ride away! This cottage is great for 1-2 adults.

Cute and cozy

Very cute, clean, and private room, well-located to the center of town. It is very compact but we loved the homey touches and without a car, it was very easy to get to the center of town by foot or by the free island shuttle service that stops right around the corner. Didn't meet the host in person but they were very responsive and kind, providing recommendations before our stay and allowing us to store our luggage there until our flight the day of checkout. Just bear in mind you will need to bring your own shampoo and conditioner!

Tight quarters

We attended during rainy weather. So we could not take advantage of the very nice deck. Our stay was limited to the indoors. The room is very well constructed with great craftsmanship. But it is just too small. The two of us were tripping over ourselves.
