The Cindy Cottage is beautiful and has everything you need for a perfect stay on Nantucket! We barely used the car as it is walkable to downtown and walking/biking trails. I will say we are pretty independent travelers, but had a few questions throughout our trip - communication was very limited from the host and not present after we checked in. The listing also references a waterfront view from an upstairs bedroom that was not available to us during this stay. Overall, we had a great time and would hope for some better communication next trip.

A lovely, comfortable, beautifully decorated cottage! Great location! I use a cane/walker and was easily able to walk to the historic downtown area easily. If anything, the owner undersells the inside of this property! There are TWO beautifully decorated bedrooms, each with a king bed and full bathroom with walk-in shower. The outdoor grill area is very small and there is no water view, but everything else was better than expected.

Location was walking distance to town. Place was nicely decorated and welcoming. Floor could have been a little cleaner, my socks were very dirty from walking on the floor. Hair dryer had either little air or burning hot air coming through it. Still we had a nice stay. I would recommend it to others.

Beautiful property. Manager was excellent. Great location. Close to everything but quiet. I would recommend a smaller car (we rented a 4 door Jeep and it fit in the driveway but was tight) but having parking that close to town was an absolute dream!! Truly lovely place!!

Unfortunately too short of a stay.. beautiful one bedroom unit. Easy walk to town, bike to the beaches. Well stocked kitchen , did not use much but felt could cook easily. Outdoor Grill and table to sit outside.. highly recommend!!

Even Better Than Before!

This is our 2nd time staying at the Cindy and we were blown away by how much more we enjoyed this home! After an amazing stay here a little over 2 years ago, we were already excited to be back. Not only was it as good as we remembered but the addition of the fireplace made our stay even more cozy. Of course the location can’t be beat as we ventured downtown several times for shops and food. Most importantly, our dog loved her time here as well!

We loved our stay in this little slice of heaven. The place is even nicer than the photos. Home is completely updated with high end finishes throughout. We are very particular and the home met our expectations. Great location for walking into town. Highly recommend.

Great location and space

Conveniently located walking distance to beaches and the main downtown area. Also close to a bus stop for any trips to the mid-island or Sconset. Place is beautifully decorated and comfortable. We loved our stay!

Beautiful and tranquil stay

This rental is perfection: it is clean, sizable, spa like, perfect location with beach across the street and walking to town, and has the full Nantucket feel. We spent a few nights as a sisters get away and can’t wait to plan our next trip back!

Delightful even in bad weather

Extreme high quality in every respect. Cold, blustery the week we were there so enjoyed the place even more. Close to downtown, shopping, dining. Walk to the ferry. Thoughtful touches like an iPad for the central music system. Cuisinart. Stocked Keurig coffee. Fresh flowers beautiful the whole week. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful

Another wonderful stay at the Cindy! Last time I booked the Cynthia which includes an extra bed (the one pictured) and bath, but it didn't really matter. The space is bright and clean with a great kitchen. Walking distance to everything in town on a quiet side street. Def recommend!

Beautiful little house in a great location

We loved this place! The location is so close to town that we walked there frequently. The furnishings are all very new and the bed was very comfortable. We brought our car and dog for four days in the middle of October. The weather was excellent and we got to drive all over the island and see most of the beaches and lighthouses. We mostly cooked in the house for our meals and it is very well equipped for anything you want to cook. The only drawbacks were the driveway and back yard are very small. We couldn't put the dog in the yard because it had such little space and it was almost impossible to get the car into the driveway/parking spot without scratching the car on the bushes on the right side. We ended up parking in the parking lot next to the house, but overnight parking was not allowed. One other difficulty was the upstairs toilet. It doesn't have a handle or obvious way to flush it. Turns out all you have to do is touch the tank top (who knew?) All the issues were very minor compared to the house and its location - five stars are well deserved.
