Great location close to beach in a nice, quiet part of Nanaimo. Rental was very clean and comfortable.

Central location
Location is convenient and in a quiet neighborhood but close to a busy street. Ocean view is mostly gone due to trees but it is very close to the ocean. There are stores close by. The house is big but had a weird smell. It was clean though but it did have a smell so we opened all doors and windows which was great.

This upper floor suite was ample space for the 8 of us, providing opportunities for quiet alone times as well as social times together. The large grassy yard is exceptionally wonderful. But when we encountered rats in the house , and wanted to to talk about that suddenly our host Restavio became very unresponsive. In the mornings rats had eaten through plastic bread bags that we left out on the counters and there were rat droppings in the dining area and living room. At night a rat woke us in the bedroom and scampered away when we turned on the lights. I hope they can get rid of the rats because other than that it’s a really nice place!

One night stay.
The manager of the property was very understanding and easy to deal with. All communication was timely and courteous. The property listed a hot tub but it was not working when we got there so we found a different property and moved after 1 night. The property was ok, but needed a good deep cleaning. Some dust and spider webs. The location was good. Close enough to walk to the beach and some small shops. The rooms were big enough for us.

Kitchen challenges
We were a group of 8 and making a nice meal was extremely difficult with such limited kitchen supplies. We had only two wine glasses, no mixing and serving bowls for a large salad, no serving spoons, few knives and limited sizes of pots and pans. We enjoyed the space and the cleaning staff was exceptionally good. Directions on how to use the TV and lock the door would have been helpful.
