We had everything we needed including a starter kit from the host like water bottles, coffee, fruits etc. The host was very attentive. There is a great rooftop view and a wonderful garden by the pool. A nice relaxing place to unwind after a week of sightseeing.

Fantastic villa for family holiday

The villa was perfect for a meetup between my family, my parents, and my sister and her husband. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was well stocked, there were towels and pool toys for the pool and the bedrooms were very comfortable. Nancy provided everything we needed for my young son and was very responsive to all of my questions before and during the trip. She also welcomed us with a bottle of wine and provided a treat during the week. In addition, the location was fantastic for day trips to some archeological sites, the beach and Nafplion. We had the perfect mix of rest days at the villa, taking full advantage of the fantastic pool and BBQing at home, and days out, eating at the nearby tavernas and exploring the region. I would book this accommodation again in a heartbeat the next time we are in the region!

Recommendation!

We loved our stay at Villa Rodon. The garden and pool area is simply beautiful and very well-kept. We especially enjoyed the relatively large size of the pool. Pool and garden are being lit at night and the view from the roof terrace is magnificent. The location is superb, close to famous ancient sites, Nafplio and nice beaches. Nancy is a fantastic host and was always reachable.

A great villa in a great location

The house suited us very well. The pool was great at all times of the day including at night as it's illuminated. The covered veranda was perfect for table tennis and mealtimes. The oasis of a garden was beautifully looked after. We loved the nearby beach and the swimming was perfect in the warm sea. Vivari has good Tavernas as does Drapano which also has good shops. The area is very quiet and private which suited us. It's not far from some impressive historic sites. All in all a great villa in a great location.

Excellent property and host

Villa Rodon with its large, well-tended, luscious gardens is ideally situated far enough from any busy tourist areas but close enough to visit them if you wish. For us it proved an excellent base for visiting inland ancient sites as well as the coast from Naflio to Porto Heli and numerous beaches in-between. On lazy days the pool was a delight and its UV-protecting cover allowed us to use it in full sun without worry. Finally, Nancy, our host, couldn’t have been more pleasant and we thank her for her hospitality.

Beautiful Villa with a glorious garden and pool

We really enjoyed this holiday. The villa is gorgeous and Nancy is a fantastic host always taking care of us. The villa was very clean and well maintained, exactly as described. Check-in was easy and after one week the house was cleaned and the linen and towels renewed. Thanks Nancy. As already described by others: the heated pool is really the highlight. Swimming in warm water in October was great. Also the roof terrace with its fantastic view was a nice place in the morning and in the evening. Thank you very much Nancy for giving us the opportunity to stay in your villa. Whenever we will visit again the Peleponnes, we will book your villa.

We had a very nice holiday at the villa Rodon the last week of August 2023. Very clean villa and very well kept garden ; perfect for a family with children. Calm surroundings ; no traffic, a few neighbours, but no sound whatsoever heard from them during the whole week. Beautiful view over the sea (not really within walking distance). Nancy, the owner, is a very nice person, easy to join and who makes big efforts to make her tenants feel welcome and confortable. We enjoyed our stay !

Absolutely nothing not perfect

Villa remained cool, even in 42C heatwave, being surrounded on three sides by verandas. We kept aircon at 27C and were really comfortable. Pool is lovely and has a great view. Gardens immaculate with our own lemons for G&Ts. Host Nancy welcomed us and showed us everything and was on call if needed. Nearby Kandia beach lovely especially at each end. Recommend Oyna Thatsa - Oyna Patsa fish restaurant on beach in Vivari, and Maria’s Minimarket in Drepano.

Heaven on earth

Host was super great with communications before, during and after. Directions were great and host came to house with keys and to walk through how everything operates. There is absolutely nothing missing. Whether you have a family or just a couple once you check in you will not want to check out. Pool house was magnificent, beds comfortable and kitchen well stocked. We would be anxious to come back if we were anywhere in the area.

Wonderful stay

Lovely house with a beautiful view from the balcony. Our kids especially loved the great pool which was warm enough to enjoy also in the evening and on the (few) rainy days. Nancy is a wonderful host.

Best vacation at Villa Rodon

We rented this villa for us and 3 other couples and stayed for 2 weeks. It is by far better than the pictures. A great place to stay for the comfort and the location. Beautiful inside and out. Close to the beaches and restaurants. Although I don’t go to the same place twice for vacation, I would come back here again and again.

This was a beautiful property, the view was spectacular and so quite and very clean. Nancy was a wonderful host, warm and friendly, made sure we were comfortable, leaving us a bottle of wine, fruit, a cake in the middle of the week. She was easily available if we required anything. The pool was wonderful, it was so nice to have the covering on a cooler morning swim. The Gardens were beautiful, even her little Canaries were a treat to listen to beside the pool area. There were fruit trees on the property at your disposal, so nice to have fresh lemons, and peaches and loquat. We were to come in January, due the the out break of Covid we had to move the dates to May. Nancy was very accommodating. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to my clients. Thank you Nancy, we hope to return one day...

Beautiful October large family break

Have just returned home from the most amazing 8 nights at Villa Rodon. Firstly I need to thank our host.... Nancy was simply amazing From the very first communication, always super helpful and quick to respond and she was available to us at all times throughout our stay. Not to mention the welcome wine, tea, coffee and honey and the amazing local cake recieved mid week. Thank you Nancy :) We were a large family group of 9 including my parents, our three young adult sons (18-24) plus a girlfriend and our 6 year old. This villa was plenty spacious enough and had something for us all. The interior is not ultra modern but beautifully cared for, clean and perfect for our needs. Although the location is very remote and there were not an abundance of things within walking distance... I can't complain as the scenery is simply breath taking and it makes it feel all that more exclusive. We spent so much time in the villa grounds... Why wouldn't you? The garden was definitely the star of the show... Beautiful and so much thought in everything. The hammock next to the sound of birds, the table tennis and basket ball for the older boys... The pool and playground keeping the youngest extremely happy and we had several lovely bbqs. The fact you can close the shutters to completely enclose the pool is amazing for slightly cooler days and evenings. We enjoyed some lovely ventures out too to the local harbour in Vivari and into Nafplio. Which is just amazing. Cannot recommend this villa or host enough. Book it!! PS... This was my first ever experience of driving abroad... It was 2 hours from Athens so I was a little worried but have to say, the journey is really straight forward so all good.

Perfekte Location, perfekte Kommunikation

Phänomenale Lage mit Aussicht aufs Meer der beheizte Pool hatte durchgehend 29°C und im Oktober hatten wir 27°C den halben Tag über bei strahlendem Sonnenschein. Am Pool und im sehr schön angelegten Garten ist es wundervoll. Aus dem Gemüsegarten darf man sich bedienen (Salat, Paprika, Gurken, Zitronen...) Das Haus selbst hat eine tolle Dachterrasse, die wie der ganze Garten- und Poolbereich nicht einzusehen ist. Nachbarn gibt es ohnehin nur drei - und die sind 50m vor der Einfahrt. Innen ist alles hübsch, gut ausgestattet, allerdings teils etwas alt. Internet ist mit 10/1,5 Mbit/s in Ordnung, Videokonferenz hat funktioniert. WLan ist sogar am Pool stabil vorhanden. Mit dem Auto ist man in 3min an den Kiesstrand (Kondyli Beach) runtergefahren, laufen könnte man sicher auch. Das Wasser ist klar, baden ging noch gut (23-25°C Wassertemperatur). Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin/Kontaktperson war außergewöhnlich gut. Sehr schnelle Reaktion, außerordentlich engagiert und unterstützend. Nancy (νανσυ) hat die Sache abgerundet und spricht sehr gut englisch. Man könnte dirchaus 8 Personen in der Schlafzimmern unterbringen. Dann wäre es ein bisschen enger im Innenbereich, aber am Pool wären auch 8 Liegen verfügbar. (Wir waren zu viert, dann ist es luxuriös.) Insgesamt also phantastisch, wir überlegen tatsächlich noch einmal wiederzukommen (untypisch für uns).

Nice villa with stunning view, garden and pool with roof

We were here for one week (three adults). The house is big and cosy, the view over the landscape and seaside is impressive.We were warmly welcomed by the owner of the house. Nancy had offered us to buy some groceries for us, since we arrived latley in the evening. She also provided us with fruit, wine and cake. The kitchen is large and very suitable for cooking. Only in the sofa corner in front of the TV, another sofa would have been nice to lie on (but there are two sofas available). There is also German TV and stable internet, even out to the pool (we are currently in another vacation home where the internet is rather unstable and notice the difference clearly). We especially liked the big garden, we were even allowed to harvest the fruit (lemons etc.). The pool is covered and heated, great thing! Only the table tennis table (nice that there is one!) could have a little more free space around to play. She also provided us with fruit, wine and cake. The kitchen is large and very suitable for cooking. Only in the sofa corner in front of the TV, another sofa would have been nice to lie on (but there are two sofas available). There is German TV and stable internet access, even out to the pool (we are currently in another vacation home where the internet is rather unstable and notice the difference clearly). We especially liked the big garden, we were even allowed to harvest the fruit (lemons etc.). The pool is covered and heated, great thing! Unlike in some houses in Greece, the water pressure of the showers is very good and you get warm water quickly. In one of the bedrooms the lighting was a bit dim, but who needs that when you can spend the evening in the living room or on the terrace. The mosquito grids in the bedroom windows were very helpful - it would be nice to add some in the living room as well (but it's great that there are some at all). Outside on the terrace, the neighbors' cats are around from time to time. We really liked having breakfast under the Bouganville plant on the terrace; there are enough sunny and shady breakfast areas depending on ourmood. All in all, this is a house in which we felt very comfortable, and that definitely deserves the name "Villa"!
