"Everything we needed for the the week"

"Wanted to get a feel for DH vibe. My son recently purchased a lot there. This is our 7th trip to the Big Island, and first time to stay in Naalehu. Definitely more chill, less people and less touristy. Volcano was spectacular! House was adequate. Furnishings were spartan, not very homey. Kitchen was very nice with newer appliances, except the frig door didn't seal tightly.Overall an enjoyable stay, it's Hawaii!!"

"This property the Aloha Green House Retreat is beautiful, comfortable, spacious, and clean. The host “Ruth” is super nice and organized. The house is located in a quiet, safe, and affluent neighborhood. The plus is the view of the ocean. This place is a must stay. "

"Beautiful gardens and lovely accomodations. Clean and colorful unit with everything we needed. Proximity to south point was great for partner to go fishing off the shore. No AC, but weather is cooler and great breeze coming through house. Evenings were filled with frogs singing. Host was very welcoming and helpful. Would love to stay here again."

"The cottage was very quiet and relaxing. The breeze was beautiful and comfortable at night. Be aware there is no TV or wifi, so be prepared to relax and enjoy the weather and read a good book. It was clean and the property was huge. It is close to black sand beach and not too far from the volcano. We would stay again!"
