Perfect location across from the pool splashpad and a 3 minute golf cart ride to the beach. Loved the screened in porch and deck for reading. So many special touches throughout the house that add character and beach-y charm. Hostess is top notch! She helped me reserve our same-day check-in after our plans for another trip fell through at the last minute, saving the day for my son’s birthday. The house is beautifully decorated with colorful art and supplies mostly everything needed on a trip. You only need to bring specialty items you prefer such as coffee creamer, a large frying pan and toiletries. Super comfy king-sized bed in the master BR was a bonus! Great family-oriented neighborhood as well. It was so nice to have our dogs with us - they really enjoyed the beach. We hope to be back very soon! May God bless you, Rhonda!

PERFECT RENTAL

My family and myself thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It was very clean, great location next to pools, had every amenity we needed. My grandson loved the golf cart and being so close to the pools. Definitely a 5 STAR rental and will definitely rent it again.

Amazing family vaction

The landlord was so helpful and answered all questions very fast. Cute house and the amenities were so fun!!! The resort and home was close to everything. The golf kart was fun.....never drove one before. This vacation makes me want to buy a home at oceanside village

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The location to the pool and distance to the beach was perfect. Our sons enjoyed the pool in the evening. Our fur baby loved the porch. We are definitely coming back. Mrs. Rhonda is very pleasant to work with and her home is simply perfect for our family.

Wonderful stay!

This beach house is so cute! Perfect for my fiancé and I to spend a long weekend. The house is decorated in a fun, beachy vibe that was perfect for us and our two little dogs. Rhonda was so a pleasure to rent from and very communicative. We look forward to staying again in the near future!

Summary of Stay

The owner was very quick to respond and the one issue we had she got someone in to fix it ASAP. . We did not however find the home itself was right for us. There is no table only a small counter with wood stools. Although some may find the bed comfy for us it was way too soft. It sunk into the middle. The master bath shower is very small so we showered in the guest bath. The appliances were clean and worked perfectly and the bathrooms were clean. The floors however were not very clean. There are rubber mats that I tried to wash but they probably should be replaced. We were booked to stay for a month so we had a lot of things and there were so many Knick knacks on every surface we had no where to put our toiletries etc. there is a large dresser which was great for folded clothes. The house would have been fine for a weeks stay. We did not mention these issues to the owner as she is so nice and was very helpful when we needed her but in the end I’m afraid we would not book this home again.

Yearly Getaway

I really liked this place, very clean. Beds were really uncomfortable for me. The only problem I had was the fact that I pay a cleaning charge and yet me (disabled) and my 68yr husband had to clean and wash all linens before we left. I have stayed at Oceanside Village for the past 10yrs and If I am going to have to clean more on my vacation than I do at home, then I think we will stay home from now on.

Would not stay here again

When we arrived the unit was dirty. The toilets and kitchen counters were clean however the floors were dirty and needed mopping. The second bathtub still had sand in it. The oven and top of stove dirty. Rugs in kitchen and second bathroom were covered in hair. The door to the second bathroom would not stay closed, had to put something in front of it to keep it from opening. The master bathroom had no door, just a curtain. The doors to the master bedroom and second bedroom would not catch, so basically could be opened with a touch of a finger. The third bedroom is right off the kitchen and is separated by a curtain.

Pandemic vacation

We had questioned even going to the beach but decided to and we enjoyed ourselves and took precautions. The beach house was clean, comfortable and had plenty of room. We enjoyed the screened in front porch and also being across the street from the pool. That was very convenient. The beach was crowded but we would wait until late afternoon To go or just sit in the surf. Usually we visited the pool in the morning and beach in the afternoon. Rhonda was a delight to work with. Very prompt and quickly accessible. Great golf cart came with the house for our use. Will stay with her again.

February fun

We enjoyed our month at Rhonda's cute, pet friendly, tiki time beach house. The bed was so comfortable and we felt at home right away. Even on rainy days, with the 3 TV's it was a great place to settle in and watch movies. There was a nice beachy feel. The kitchen was equipped with most of the things you might need. Had the weather been warmer, we would have made more use of the spacious front deck. The community has great amenities. Having use of the golf cart made getting around a lot of fun. We enjoyed the indoor pool often and my wife enjoyed using the fitness center for a small fee. The community is also very dog friendly and our cockapoo loved going to the enclosed dog park. Surfside Beach is a nice town to explore. There are many close restaurants and bars. Golf courses are close by and there is a large flea market just up the road.

Property owner is very nice and quick to reply with anything you need. The location is great and it’s in a nice and quiet community all in all everything was great I would definitely rent agin.
