****RENTER BEWARE****Dunes Realty manages the rental units and did a wonderful job. SURFSIDE REALTYwho owns the property, scheduled a balcony assessment, did not communicate this to the tenant occupying the rental (myself) and the neighbors attempted to access my rental unit with contractors. HOW HORRIFYING FOR ME AS A SOLO TRAVELER. Early morning, the neighbors were shaking banging and rattling the storm door i locked, thank goodness. They finally rang the doorbell after atleat 20 min admitting they did not know a tenant was there, no apologies, and telling me they are on the "board" as if this justifies their harrassing behavior. They would have entered the unit if that storm door was not locked. As a board member due your due diligence, check with the owners first, then give the tenant 24 hour notice, & ring the bell first! This was a complete violation of privacy and security. Tenanats have rights! Nevertheless, I spoke with Dunes Realty who showed the most empathy, apologized and confirmed who these people were. I let the manager of HOA in to make this go away as it already ruined my trip. I WAS LEFT FEELING VERY UNSAFE!!!. To the owners, I'm sorry to leave this review. Your condo is beautiful. The decor and amenities were well thougt out. It was a great value for the location. This place deserves a 5 but that incident was inexcusable. I thought there was work being done next door because i was using the dryer which muffled the banging sounds until the dryer stopped.
