We loved Star at the reception desk! We were sad we didn’t get to say goodbye! And the breakfast was pretty good. Other than that, the pool was freezing cold-they said it’s a “heated pool” but it’s not. We even told them many times and they said they turned it up but after 3 more days it was still freezing! Other guests said the same thing. We love to swim and were upset we didn’t get to. Our bathroom shower leaked all over the floor, even after they changed the shower neck. You can’t use a secure wi-fi unless you PAY for it! Our lights in our room were touchy and would go on and off when they felt like it. We didn’t get “towel cards” when we arrived so Tiffany at the front desk treated us like we wanted to steal the “luxury” beach towels that were faded, fraying, and nothing special. She told us we had to wait 2 hours until the manager came in to see if he could remember if he gave us our towel cards or not, he could check the cameras…Really? I had to leave a $500 deposit and you’re worried I will steal a nasty towel? We were there for 6 nights and they never changed our bedding. You would think a hotel on the beach with all the sand would change bedding every 2 days. Parking is NOT free! Although they advertise it is! The housekeeping staff was rude.
