From the moment i entered the lobby i knew it was clean and the staff was friendly and professional. My room was actually available a little early so i checked in early. Unfortunately a little too cold to swim in the pool. I received an email asking how i was enjoying my room. When i mentioned i wasn't thrilled with the shower head and pressure they actually replaced the shower head the very next day! Shower was great after that. Breakfast was a little routine after a couple days. Basic items but i never saw bacon just sausage But overall my wife and i were very pleased with the hotel and staff.

Very nice hotel. Staff was extremely helpful. Bar and restaurant are excellent. Breakfast was good, always well stocked including fresh fruit. A little more variety for the hot breakfast would be good. Only downside is the lack of care by some pet owners. A few did not clean up after their pets. Maybe they should stop allowing pets on site.

Love the Hotel. The overall condition of property is very nice. They do need to pay attention to the beach area and between pool and beach 2 or 3 times a day. It would be nice if both pools were heated. And a few balls Frisbees etc laying around with towel rack. The free breakfast is excellent but expect a little more in a nicer hotel grapes melons etc. Loved the Ocean View.

recommend !
It was enough to stay here and enjoy Myrtle beach :) Although the gym facilities and breakfast were a bit disappointing, the inn is clean and quiet.

Nice, but not great.
It was our second year choosing this Residence Inn for our winter vacation spot. We had hoped to stay in corner room, but was told that wasn't possible. Our room was fine, but the toilet would continue to run unless you pressed the handle afterward to stop it. Then, approx 4 days into our stay the shower started draining very slow. The phone never worked--but that wasn't an issue for us because we each had our own cell phones.

Nice Oceanfront stay with kitchen ex service
Outstanding service. Attentive and kind employees at check in and restaurant/ bar. Seemed to be adequately staffed and very clean with employees keeping a watch on breakfast area, common areas etc. Refreshing to see the standard and friendliness when things have seemed to go downhill since Covid at many other service establishments.

Everything was great but the shower was not clean. There was a lot of hair in the shower. We washed it ourselves. We did try to stay an extra night but it was too expensive for us.

Fantastic!
Amazing place to stay, and our absolute favorite when we go to the beach. The facility and accommodations are roomy and extremely comfortable, always clean, and the staff is always very friendly and helpful when needed. The breakfast is also a plus!

After a 17 hr road trip first thing you want to do after checking in it’s get into a warm shower 😡 walking in to the bathroom first thing I see is pubic hairs on the floor n on the shower floor disgusting I rushed to clean it my self ddnt want my bby boy to step into a disgusting floor I did report it to front desk they only apologized for the inconvenience

The overall experience was good, but definitely very eye opening. The staff was great and overall cleanliness was pretty good. However, we had no idea that their would as many dogs to humans. If you have pets this definitely is the hotel to go to! You can have pets on the beach and they have a grassy area all in front of pool area for animals.

4 years ago this hotel was very good in all areas. Now this hotels is very BAD in the following areas: Under cooked food at buffet Cold buffet food Powdered eggs every day Little variety of breakfast items Bacon was never available Coffee only available from 6:30am to 10:30am No room service during our 4 night stay Rickety (aka poor quality) luggage racks Lumpy mattress Water pressure for roll-in shower was minimal Non working patio blinds No bar soap Single roll of toilet paper Un-cleaned table in dinning area Dingy towels and linen, not "bleach" white Dishwasher had a musty odor Outdated microwave

We loved Star at the reception desk! We were sad we didn’t get to say goodbye! And the breakfast was pretty good. Other than that, the pool was freezing cold-they said it’s a “heated pool” but it’s not. We even told them many times and they said they turned it up but after 3 more days it was still freezing! Other guests said the same thing. We love to swim and were upset we didn’t get to. Our bathroom shower leaked all over the floor, even after they changed the shower neck. You can’t use a secure wi-fi unless you PAY for it! Our lights in our room were touchy and would go on and off when they felt like it. We didn’t get “towel cards” when we arrived so Tiffany at the front desk treated us like we wanted to steal the “luxury” beach towels that were faded, fraying, and nothing special. She told us we had to wait 2 hours until the manager came in to see if he could remember if he gave us our towel cards or not, he could check the cameras…Really? I had to leave a $500 deposit and you’re worried I will steal a nasty towel? We were there for 6 nights and they never changed our bedding. You would think a hotel on the beach with all the sand would change bedding every 2 days. Parking is NOT free! Although they advertise it is! The housekeeping staff was rude.
