Everything in the condo was great and as listed. We had a great time and were very comfortable. Location is very nice as well, being near the north end of Myrtle and away from some of the more congested areas.

The condo was amazing. Wonderful for a group of 5 women who have been best friends since 5. The beds were cozy, the location was nice. The only recommendation is to have more than 1 garbage bag for the kitchen, more toilet paper and paper towels. Perhaps some pods for the coffee maker and salt and pepper. Folks flying in can’t readily access these and there is nothing within walking distance to get these items. Small items, yes but would be nice if they were there. Also, beach towels. There weren’t any. But again, beautiful place. Would return.

The accommodations were marvelous. I was disappointed with the pools and hot tubs not operational. The small thongs like a deck of cards and a puzzle were a huge success with the kids boredom with the rainy days.

Great Family Vacation!

We had a great time and the property was perfect for our family of 13. The lazy river was a favorite of our younger children and the seniors in our group. Maintenance was very responsive to our needs and concerns.

good trip

Excellent apartment for a family, great hotel and location. However, the mattresses are bad for those with back pain (I had to put them on the floor to sleep) and the internet didn't allow us to watch a movie as a family because the stream didn't connect. These are two negative details. but overall it was good.

Pretty property, but fire hazard

It is a pretty condo, it is not safe for children, the stove knows turn the stove on if u just touch them and multiple times while in the kitchen cooking we had to turn the stove off. We had to make sure nothing was on the stove at all due to it turning on so easily

Outstanding views yet very disappointed in units conditions.

Let's start with a couple good things. The kitchen and living area have been updated and were in nice condition but this unit was severely lacking general maintenance and cleanliness. Master bedroom sliding glass door would not latch allowing wind noise continuously. There were so many vertical blinds missing on the master bedroom sliding glass door a sheet was hung up in front of the door for privacy. Multiple blinds missing throughout the whole unit. Toilet in master was not cleaned upon our arrival. Carpets and tile floors were filthy. At this price level I would excepted a whole lot more. Very disappointed. If you are looking for strictly views you have found your condo. If you are looking for a condo that is clean well maintained with a great view I would strongly suggest looking else where.

EXCELLENT FOR A FAMILY

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: South Wind 907 is a huge condo perfect for a large family or group. The condo is nicely decorated and well kept. The location and view are perfect. There is no "check in or check out" which, in my opinion, is great! Booking was very simple and communication was good. We will certainly be booking in the future.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unit had pros and cons.The view was awesome from the 9th floorThere was no one at resort if you had any issues.The living room and bedroom windows all had broken blinds....we had to put towels over the windows for privacy.We killed a number of roaches in the unit. Pools were kept very clean however closed at 10pm and opened at 9 am.Lazy river was highlight for the kids however half the rafts were almost flat by noonNo restrooms in relation to the beach or the pool It was a mixed use building meaning it had permanent residents and rental units.Vending machines only worked halfway.Not bashing resort but for money spent fir a 5 bedroom unit in summer prime at almost $10,000 I would have expected a little more

Honest Review

For the insane amount of money we paid, I would expect a fully updated condo but this condo needs to be completely renovated from top to bottom including the balcony. I never felt “clean” in this condo. The building was outdated. The pools were very small and dirty. One day someone threw up in one of the pools and the next day the vomit was still floating in the pool. I was surprised at the number of cockroaches in the common areas. The hallways were sprayed for bug control during our stay but the cockroaches were always present at night. The cockroaches never entered the condo but they were on the balcony and in the hallways. The good points......the condo was spacious and it was nice for everyone to have their own bedroom and bathroom. The view from the family room and balcony was spectacular! The condo was in a good location with lots of things to do in the area including many good restaurants. I have very high standards and I thought the price tag represented luxury accommodations but this is not the case. I would not stay here again. I wish someone would have written this honest review before we stayed here.

A bit disappointing

While the common areas of the condo were very nice, the bedrooms and baths could have used some updating--particularly the carpet was dirty and needed cleaned or replaced. Everything was fairly clean, but there were dirty bathroom rugs shoved in the corner of one of the bedrooms. Also, there was never an attendant in the Lobby of the South Wind and the Lobby was locked most of the time. The one time we were able to get in (in search of a bathroom convenient to the pool area), there was an overwhelming odor of bug spray and dead roaches on the floor. We would probably think twice about staying here in the future.

Loved this property! Everyone staying around us were pleasant. Easy access to the beach and the beach had a life guard!! Room was clean and the view was beautiful! I would highly recommend staying here!

Beautiful Beach Condo

The Condo is really nice. We enjoyed our stay. The only complaint that we have is the vents were dirty or blowing dirty air . The ceiling where the vents were located was very dirty in the bedrooms. In the Master bed room there was mold in the shower lint hanging out of the vent. There was a noise coming from the bathroom, I thought it was an animal stuck in the vent . I called on the day of my birthday to let the company know what was going on. They sent someone to clean the mold in the shower but not the vents. I was disappointed that I had to call for cleaning issues that should’ve been taken care of before my stay. The mold was not fully removed so I took shower with sock or standing in a paper bag. I have pictures but can not upload them.

February vacation

We had a great stay. Lots of room and beautiful views. Beds were comfortable. We had the pools and whirlpools to ourselves almost as it is not busy at all in February. Nice location, if you like privacy. Close drives to all activities in the area.

Great Space. Amazing View

We really enjoyed our visit! It’s in a great location, has an AMAZING view being on the 9th floor in a corner unit. The living room area is nicely updated. There is tons of space, 5 bedrooms, 4 full baths. Amazing sunrises! The reasons I didn’t give this a higher rating was because the bedrooms and bathrooms need updating. Most importantly, the mattresses need replaced. My husband and I had to move to a spare room because the mattress had no support. That one was better but not great. My teenage son had to move beds twice. The furniture in the bedrooms is mismatched and not in good shape for the most part. Bedrooms have old stained carpet. Ceilings in bathrooms (at least the master) are old and not in great shape. Vertical blinds throughout are old, not in working order, and many slats are missing. Dishes are chipped. Overall it needs some TLC throughout. See room 201 for great decorating and updating ideas!

Great location

Plenty Large enough for our two families. We had a total of 11. Wish there had been more bath towels and beach/pool towels would have been awesome if they were provided. Would absolutely stay again.
