Love the hotel and I know it says in the listing you have to bring your own towels and bed sheets (or pay 40 per set) but it was a huge inconvenience will probably not stay in this particular room again.

Weather was terrible the whole weekend, but the unit was great. Needs a little 'love', but it's in a great location (quiet residential neighborhood). Breakfast in the restaurant was great, and drinks at the bar were good, too. All the hotel staff was friendly though we didn't book this unit through them. Have stayed at this property before, but not in the penthouse VRBO.

We have been repeat guests at Island Vista Resort since 2016. This is our 2nd time staying in PH5 (and renting through VRBO). We love the resort and its location on a quieter section of the beach. Having a restaurant & bar downstairs is a wonderful perk, and there is music by the pool on the weekends. The condo itself was clean, and everything was in working order (A/C, washer/dryer, and appliances). The staff at Oceanfront Vacation Rentals provided good communication. Be aware that you do have to pick up & drop off keys at their office, but it is an easy process. We did bring a small cart with us to help us transport heavy items from our vehicle.

Home away from home

This place has it all! Perfect views, oceanfront, pools, lazy river, tiki bar, exercise room. Close to many fun family activities, shops, entertainment and restaurants. This is our favorite location by far. The room had everything we needed and more!

Excellent Getaway

This resort is AMAZING. The rental agency (Oceanfront Vacation Rentals, Inc.) is AWESOME. The condo was perfect for our family of 5 (three adults and two kiddos under 10). Plenty of space and kitchen items to cook a few meals. Linen rental was great - perfectly clean sheets and towels. We stayed in Oct 2024 and the outdoor heated pool was just right for swimming in the cooler fall temperatures. Plus our kiddos enjoyed in the indoor pool and lazy river. We used both the indoor and outdoor hot tubs -- so relaxing. Highly recommend. Absolutely 0 complaints.

Nice stay

The decor is a little dated but all items are functional. The property management company communicated with me promptly. The amount of towels and washcloth’s was way more than adequate. Since I have stayed at Island Vista before I can say all in all this property was equal to all the others.

Great vacation!

This property was fantastic! The condo had a great view. The oceanfront pool and walkout to the beach was amazingly convenient. We spent the day going back and forth. The condo was very nice. We had a bit of an issue with the cleanliness but the property manager reached out to the cleaning company and they were on the phone within an hour to take care of it. And the property manager followed up and offered a mid week free cleaning. Nothing is perfect but it’s the way thing are handled that makes all the difference. Thank you. I would definitely recommend this place.

Spring Break 2k23

Everything was great and convenient. The staff was was kind and courteous. The view was amazing and the layout of the place fit my family perfect with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. I would suggest future guests get the linen package, I opted not to and it added extra luggage to tote back and forth (bad call on my part). Perfect stay for my family!

Island Vista

I've stayed at Island Vista before as a guest of the property, not as a VRBO. I've always had a great experience and this time we did as well. However because this was a VRBO the resort would not let us room charge or even leave a credit card at the desk for drinks/food, they would not even give us a bar of soap. It would be nice if the VRBO owners had an arrangement with the resort to offer more customer service amenities that could be charged directly to the guests. It was a total aggravation having to remember to take a credit card to the restaurant every time we wanted a drink. Otherwise, everything about this resort continues to be ideal.

Was a good 6 night stay overall

The bed was very comfortable, the place was great the only negative thing was it was not clean although there was a card on the counter saying it was cleaned by 2 people. Employees at the resort we're wonderful and friendly.

Absolutely wonderful resort

The resort is absolutely stunning… with this being a VBRO, the customer service at this resort 11 out of 10. I ran into some concerns and the staff was not obligated to help me, they really went over and beyond to assist me with my mishap. Caren with the property management company is absolutely wonderful!! I will definitely return to this resort and use the property management company for other vacations. The following is on the owner of the room, nothing to do with the property management company nor the resort… The room was wonderful! Top floor breathtaking views… The lock to the main door has on going issues the property management company is aware of and told me ahead of time… this should have been replaced long ago and I had issues entering and leaving my room due to this… in the room the carpets and rugs can use a cleaning apparently are scheduled for cleaning after my vacation. Again this is on the owner of the property not the resort nor the property management company. The owner is aware of the on going issues with the front door.
