Love the location

The neighborhood is wonderful. Ocean front is very nice with great views. It was also not crowded even though it was a holiday week. I do believe the unit is overdue for bathroom renovation. Older fixtures with some rough finishes and areas of old water damage. The one bedroom with two beds was not really functional for four adults. Two of our family slept on the sleeper sofa. The kitchen was nicely equipped and functional. Overall first impression wasn’t good but the location made for a nice week.

Family Reunion

A wonderful time, celebrating and remembering the life of our deceased 100 year old father. He, and our mother, LOVED Ocean Creek, and we joined them on many vacations. The location and beautiful condo were perfect this time! A wonderful holiday and family time spent together! Ocean Creek is a gem! Location, grounds, facilities and condo’s are special! I highly recommend it!

Roaches- Beware

Ocean Creek is a dated resort but with great amenities. Walking into the unit it looked rather updated and nice but then went down hill. Screen slider in master was broken. Sent maintenance and said they need a new door. Uh ya? That was nothing compared to the roach we found crawling in the cabinet. Contacted them and they sent pest control during my daughter’s nap and we had to leave. Told us we have to quarantine our items when we got home and everything to avoid bringing them home. Not Carolina roaches.. the German roaches that carry bacteria and filthy. Offered us 150 as a sorry which is an insult saying they resolved the issue promptly. Well they didn’t because we woke up to 4 more crawling around. It’s infested. Stay away. Management doesn’t care and thinks 150 is enough to take back our ruined vacation with kids terrified to go back to the unit, unable to use the kitchen bc it’s infested and sleeping with one eye open. Never again

touch of a hideaway paradise

first of all the property is outstanding, oak trees and Spanish moss leads down to the towers sitting right by the inlet creek. where you can fish, swim, take pics of the wildlife or just sit and relax. You can cross over the bridge that leads to the other side of the creek. That's where the cabana sits, pretty good food and drinks but fairly high priced. once you get to the dunes lies the beach. oh yeah, where we stayed was a 3 bedroom 2 bath condo, very spacious which was priced just like a 1 bedroom condo 3 hotels down. plenty of room, nice set up and nicely decorated. Already planning to stay there again in 2025. such a great environment. oh yeah it's also a gated community 1 block down from barefoot landing and everything else. Had a great time and hated to leave. RC

Perfect Stay!

We had a great time. Clean, spacious and has everything you need. Nice view, too. The property is great, beautiful walking paths, putting green, pool, and beach bar. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook, and a closet had some toys for our kids to use at the beach. Bonus, you can walk to Barefoot Landing and avoid the crazy parking. We will for sure be back!

It’s all in the timing

My wife and I had a good time. The resort is very beautiful and everybody’s friendly. communicating with the house manager was very convenient. Lots of places to go to and see nearby. not anybody’s fault but like I said in the title timing is everything. It was a little chilly, but a lot warmer than coming from Pennsylvania and we managed to walk the beach several times. A day after we arrive, the pool was closed down for maintenance so we did not get to use it, not anybody’s fault I guess. The one day during the week that was nice and warm and you could enjoy the beach. It was a sign about bacteria, so it wasn’t advised to go in the water at that time again, nobody’s fault. On the opening day of the. facilities restaurant we hurry to have breakfast first thing in the morning when it opens at 8 AM thinking there would be a crowd, but it was pretty mellow. My wife and I were disappointed that the Breakfast was cold and the coffee was warm, it is my opinion that the Breakfast is cold because the plates were cold and most restaurants the plate are warm to keep the breakfast warm, I guess it could’ve been just a fluke first day opening. I did mention to the House manager that the sliding door from the living room not opening and we had to use the terrace from the bedroom. No inconvenience there since it’s only the two of us, but there was a crack between the door that was letting in cold air throughout the whole time but we manage. Our fault for not contacting the house mgr

Wonderful week

Relaxing time fishing, swimming and laying on the beach. Spacious clean rooms. Variety of pools to choose from.Friendly community. Tiki bar’s food was good. Highly recommend!!
